The housing
Very well equipped, this duplex apartment is located on the 3rd floor, accessible by a staircase. In the heart of the Chartrons district, you will enjoy all the comforts of home for an unforgettable stay. A few steps from the Place des Chartrons, all the shops and at the foot of the tramway, it offers you the following services:

On the first level:
- A beautiful living room with a flat screen TV, sofa and dining table.
- A kitchen, open to the living room, with everything you need to prepare your favourite dishes: fridge-freezer, induction hob, multifunction oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and many kitchen utensils.
- A bedroom with a double bed and a dressing room.
- A bathroom with shower, sink, hairdryer

On the second level:
- A mezzanine with a double bed
- A living room with television and DVD player with a sofa bed

Don’t stay here

We booked 3 weeks here. The apartment was not clean on arrival and very dirty in places. Broken chairs and bathroom drawers and very poor state of repair. Bed comfortable but other furniture for relaxing and eating not suitable for normal sized people. Kitchen adequate. Bathroom small , dirty and mould on shower and washbasin. Contacted property manager who arranged a clean but still not good at all. Faulty power points falling off walls and potentially dangerous. The worst part was this was on the third floor over a restaurant. The staff smoked incessantly on the bottom stairs and found odours filled the stairway every day, Air fresher could not repel just moderate. Also a bit noisy given tramway intersection but OK. Best part was good location with excellent Chartrons neighbourhood on doorstep and tram stop to get Bordeaux. Complained to French property manager and they were aware of the state of the apartment but happy to let to guests. Also they failed to provide clean linen in second week as stated in apartment guide so quite unprofessional in my opinion in all respects . Do not stay here is my honest and frank advice. I have the photos to substantiate all that is stated here.

Beautiful building

Good location and wonderful quiet building. The air conditioning was intermittent at best. The stairs are quite steep to the apartment. Over all the stay was quite lovely.

Très bel appartement mais quelques pépins

L’appartement est très agréable, spacieux et très bien situé mais nous n’avons pas pu bénéficier de la climatisation sur la mezzanine. Le canapé-lit n’était pas fait malgré notre demande et les velux étaient impossible à ouvrir car nous n’avions pas accès a la télécommande. Malgré nos requêtes durant notre séjour sur ces problèmes nous n’avons eu aucun retour de la part de l’agence. Dommage car c’est un bel emplacement !

Perfect apartment in a great location!

We loved this apartment! It is spacious, and has plenty of room for a family; my husband and I stayed there with our young adult son. The location is wonderful: Chartrons is a beautiful and peaceful area, and also accessible by tram or by foot to anywhere you would want to go in the city. It is also close to the river, so I was able to go for a jog from the apartment to the boardwalk. We found a fabulous Sunday market along the quai and a 5-minute walk from the apartment. I will absolutely stay there again!
