Imagine being lakeside and still close to the powdery white beaches of Destin. If that sounds good to you, then Laurel Grove is your perfect Florida beach vacation home. Laurel Grove will give you a small town feeling and that Florida beach vacation mood all in one!

Open the door to your charming home and step into the living room, which is instantly recognizable as a space made for comfort. The soft furniture, extra large TV, and iconic Florida ceiling fan all welcome you into a very inviting home. The dining area boasts a large table that is more than ample for great meals together. The kitchen features wood cabinetry and stainless steel, modern appliances. Granite countertops are in the kitchen prep area as well as the on the breakfast bar, a great place for a coffee, a snack, or just a chat. Inside the master bedroom, you will find a king bed with an en suite bathroom with both a shower and a tub. There is a second master bedroom upstairs, complete with a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a Jack and Jill shared shower with an adjoining bathroom. The second large bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and down the hallway is a bathroom with a single sink and the shared Jack an Jill shower. The alcove area at the top of the stairs has a set of bunk beds. In addition, there is a half bathroom on the first floor.

Laurel Grove is beautifully landscaped, surrounded by perfectly cut grass, tropical foliage, as well as pine trees that whisper in the wind. The entire property will set your mind at ease and instantly put you in the mood for vacation time.

Outside, the porch, a wooden deck, and a great variety of chairs are waiting for lake viewing or just lounging. The lake is always pristine. Guests also love the fountain in the lake! You also have two of your very own golf carts parked and ready to go. A community pool and hot tub are all just a short distance away.

Perfect 5-Day Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a perfect home away from home experience. The house was immaculately clean with every amenity you could need. Most pet friendly homes are a little pet worn. Not this house! Unlike most rental properties, this home had plenty of closet and drawer space, exceptionally comfortable beds and enough charging ports to satisfy an entire class of high school kids. All three bedrooms were comfortable and although there are 2.5 baths, the layout of the full bath upstairs is like having two baths with a shared shower with separate entry doors. The second floor landing includes bunk beds and a futon. So, although the house is limited to 8 people, there are beds for 8 plus the futon and large couches--plenty of room. The golf carts were perfect for our group of 7 to go to and from the beach. Sitting on the large screened in porch after a full day of a variety of activities and watching the golfers play was amazing! Rent this home, you won't be sorry. But please don't rent it when I plan to come back which is very soon.

Broken AC and property description is wrong

First off this home air conditioner was a problem nearly our entire trip. I found out afterwards that the ac problems had been previously reported but must have never been fixed, so our family had to suffer for the poor management of this property. We had a Saturday to Saturday rental. On Monday we noticed the house was hot at 78 degrees and not cooling. Tuesday I called about it twice. By Friday someone came to see about the ac. This is completely unacceptable. No apology was given nor any compensation. This home does NOT have 3 full bathrooms! And the bedroom description is also WRONG! There are only 2 full bathrooms. One is located downstairs in the main bedroom. The other full bathroom located upstairs has only a small shower. There is not an en-suite bed/bath upstairs. There is not a king bed upstairs. To sum it up- we got screwed! Paid for a house that didn’t fit the description and the ac was broken most of the week. Oh and small roaches come out at night in this house.
