Liked the house very much. The beach is across the street and there's a parking space just in front of the house. The only inconvenience is the noise from the cars passing in front of the house at night.

Great property with excellent location

Overall we had a excellent stay at this property. Pros: Clean house with good amenities Air conditioning worked - some previous reviewers indicated this was not working - we used it only at night for sleeping and greatly reduced road noise - no issues. Loads of room in the house for the two of us. Location is just across from beach and takes <2 minutes to walk there. 15 minute walk to centro Vila Baleira for wide selection of restaurants and supplies Very responsive owner as our questions were answered within the hour. Neighbours were friendly Cons: While well equipped overall, some things are showing their age and could've had more kitchen essentials such as spices, etc. Independant check in without an information package to reference - which was fine in our case as we figured things out fairly quickly and the owner was responsive to our questions So overall we quite enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if ever we go back to Porto Santo.

Localização óptima

A localização do apartamento é óptima, em frente à praia e pertissimo do restaurante “Pé na água”. O processo de check também decorreu sem qualquer constrangimento. O único senão foi o ruído que se ouvia a noite de carros a passar na rua (que é uma avenida principal). No geral, consideramos o apartamento muito bom. Muito obrigada Ricardo, Liliana e Paula.

Check-in und Check-out waren flexibel möglich und wurden von Paula sehr freundlich durchgeführt, die uns bei der Abreise auch noch schnell ein Taxi zum Flughafen organisiert hat, nachdem das am Vortag reservierte nicht kam. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer etwas klein, die Betten nicht die bequemsten. 5 Tage vor unserer Anreise wurde ich darüber informiert, dass die Klimaanlage defekt wäre und man stattdessen Ventilatoren aufgestellt hat. Ich habe durchaus Verständnis, dass auf einer kleinen Insel nicht jede Reparatur sofort möglich ist und wir kommen meist ohne großen Einsatz einer Klimaanlage aus. Leider ist aber nirgends in dem Inserat erwähnt, dass die Inselhauptstraße unmittelbar vor dem Haus vorbeiführt, das Haus also auch NICHT direkt am Strand liegt (ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß). Diese Straße ist bis etwa 2 Uhr nachts lautstark befahren (Tempolimit 60km/h!). Schlafen konnte man nur bei offenen Fenstern, da es sonst unerträglich heiß war, dann aber nur zwischen 2 und 6:30 Uhr, da nur in dieser Zeit der Straßenlärm erträglich war. Während des Aufenthalts wurde auch noch der Warmwasserboiler defekt, auch dieser konnte nicht repariert werden. Dies störte uns jedoch zum Glück weniger, da es ohnehin angenehmer war kalt zu duschen aufgrund der Hitze im Haus. Fazit: ohne Straße vor dem Haus wäre es ein nettes Ferienhaus, in dem man auch ohne Klimaanlage wohnen könnte. Mag sein, dass es außerhalb der Hauptsaison ruhiger ist...

Agradecemos a sua avaliação. A ilha é normalmente tranquila, mas num período de época alta há sempre mais ruído. Por outro lado, houve uma onda de calor intensa, que, com o ar condicionado avariado obrigava a abrir as janelas, que, estando fechadas, normalmente isolam o ruído. Apesar dos nossos esforços, não nos foi possível resolver as avarias de imediato. Lamentamos que a experiência não tenha sido a melhor como habitualmente gostamos de proporcionar.

Muito bom ,eu pessoalmente prefiro este tipo de alojamento em vez de hoteis super lotados e que pagamos muito dinheiro por all inclusive e afinal nem temos direito a uma espreguiçadeira na praia como é o caso do Vila Baleira ... Obrigado. Todos nós adoramos esta estadia ,pela comodidade ,pela vista sobre o mar e a proximidade da praia desta casa.

Excelente localização, proprietários simpáticos e disponíveis. Apenas uma nota para quem é sensível ao barulho durante o sono: a casa é virada para uma estrada principal onde passam carros e motas dia e noite, no quarto virado para a estrada o barulho pode incomodar os mais sensíveis. É, sem dúvida, uma excelente opção para quem quer ficar perto da praia e com uma casa confortável e muito bem equipada.

Casa muito bem equipada com localização perfeita: em frente à praia, com acesso mesmo ao lado. Zona sossegada mas suficientemente perto do centro. Único senão: lutamos toda a semana contra uma praga de formigas.
