The Robin is a wonderful getaway cozy "nest," hidden away in a wooded country setting. Turn down the lights, put on your favorite music, relax and enjoy the memorable moments. Sit on the decks early morning or evening hours and watch for deer, wild turkeys and geese, West Virginia's beautiful birds-and an occasional black bear! Two-bedroom/one full bath chalet with large indoor Jacuzzi, skylight, central A/C- heat, wood-burning fireplace, and enclosed private lighted deck with gas grill and outside dining.

Peaceful and Quiet!

Cabin was very quaint and peaceful. Very close to the state parks for easy access. Owner of property was very thorough with communication. Great place overall!

Getaway

This cabin was just what we were looking for. We wanted a few days to relax and do nothing. Area was beautiful and necessities were not too far away. We had an amazing time !! We would definitely rent this cabin again !!

The Robin

The Robin was the perfect getaway for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It’s peaceful, quiet, and the scenery is stunning. The owner was great to deal with as well. Highly recommend!

Christmas ski trip

The kids and I stayed there Christmas 2024. The location was located so we were 30 minutes from skiing and relatively close to the New River Gorge National Park which we explored on a few days. The cabin is in a rural area so traffic wasn't an issue. Dollar General is .5 away. The cabin is cozy and suited us well. The fire place was nice to dry ski gear and ambiance.

Great

Everything was perfect! The location was perfect and close to Pipestem State Park. It was very cozy and a massive yard to walk in or even let kids play in. I couldnt have asked for anymore here. I would definitely recommend riding into Pipestem and seeing the views and if you have time, ride the horses. Will definitely come back.

Perfect little cabin

This is the best property to stay at hands down! Me and my husband just got married September 16, and we found this cabin fell in love with it immediately. The house is absolutely gorgeous and I recommend anyone to stay here it’s the best stay that you could ask for. They even decorated the house and left champagne and cake for us. Again this is the most amazing, sweetest beautiful area to ever stay in! You have yo check it out when you get the chance!

nice cabin

the cabin was very nice but it would have nice if it was cleaner, appeared to not have been swept very well, it needed to have been dusted better, lots of dust and several cobwebs, coffee pot had not been cleaned and filter with old coffee was still in it and we cleaned mouse droppings in several rooms upon arrival

This was our 2nd stay at "The Robin" and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. The cabin is immaculate and quite charming. We loved the tranquility and privacy. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to WV!

Cute Cabin

We traveled from SC to go skiiing at Winterplace with our children. It was the perfect location as it was close to Winterplace and lots of hiking trails. The rental was clean and well equipped! It was perfect.
