UPDATE INFORMATION: Fishing pier and boat access should be repaired and available early April 2023!!

NEWLY constructed 4 bedroom/4 bathroom rental located right on Caminada Pass before you cross the Grand Isle bridge. Open living/dining/kitchen floor plan perfect for family gatherings, corporate bookings and fishing enthusiast. Covered deck for sitting and relaxing. Beautiful view of Caminada Pass, Grand Isle and the bay.

There is a shared boat launch right next to this rental. Please do not block the boat launch or any of the neighboring properties. Water depth depends on tidal range, basically you are looking at 0.5-1 ft at high tide and 2-2.5 ft at low tide at the dock. Please note we do not have control over the actual water depth at the time of your stay. At this time there is no boat access or boat mooring due to debris in the water. Fishing on the property should be done within the boundaries of it's property and not on neighbors property. You are not allowed to fish, throw a cast net or trespass on the property across the street from the camp.

BBQ pit, boiling pot, burner and propane bottle provided....renter may have to fill propane. Bridge Side marina can fill the propane bottle.

As you know Hurricane Ida (August 2021) did tremendous damage to Grand Isle and most of the camps. It continues to be a steady rebuild process. The owners of our camps have taken great measures to provide a rental for you. It was not an easy task or road to get this done. Please be patient and understanding if the camp you book does not have all of the siding up, has not been painted yet, or not all of the repairs are complete yet. A lot of owners are still trying to get material and workers to finish their camp repairs and some have paid for the repairs before insurance has paid them anything. The island itself is working diligently to fully complete all of the repairs to the island itself. Despite all of this, we welcome back our visitors and guests to enjoy this little piece of paradise. Trout Slam Weekend in GI

Beautiful camp with a beautiful view. Really liked how it was laid out inside and slept everyone very comfortably. Hate the walkway dock and lights were not operational but the web site did disclose they may not be working yet. There was no dust pan in the laundry room so had to use cardboard to sweep up the floors. Also, the online listing said there was a fish cleaning station but there was not one at the camp - this was a big dissappointment as we caught alot of fish and had to go to Bridgeside to cleant them. I assume the hurricane destroyed it and that it had not been built back yet. Also, the toilet seats would not stay up when lifted - recommend installing soft close on all. Other than that, everything was as advertised and would definitely rent this camp again in the future. Thank you.

Friends Weekend Getaway

This camp is located in an ideal area for fishing, easy access to your boat, or just great fishing off the dock into the pass. It is clean, updated and very spacious. We will most certainly be back again.

Perfect Place to Stay in Grand Isle

We took an all adult trip to grand isle! Let me just say, this place was stunning and set up perfectly for a large group! The bunk bed rooms were adorable - perfect for kids or adults! The place looked identical to the pictures - absolutely stunning! Also we LOVED the outdoor set up! There was soo much room with an outdoor bathroom too which was a huge plus! Also a shower but we didn’t have to use that. The deck is right there so you can easily fish… nice to not have to walk far out! I really can’t praise this place enough! Will definitely rent again if available next time!

Great rental. As advertised.

Stayed with three other friends at Happy Ours in May 2021. Rental appeared very new, was clean, and everything worked properly. Plenty of space with just the four of us. Location near Bridge Side marina was convenient. Did not fish off the dock as we fished elsewhere during our stay. Would rent here again.
