This was a great trip for family and friends. Pots, utensils, and microwave could be upgraded. Microwave works, but made a noice. This house is spacious. Couches could be upgraded, and we also realize this is a “camp”, and we did enjoy the time. All things considered, we would rent again.

The only positive thing I can say about this stay is that the cleaning company came right away when I called about the animal urine smell. There were nails and broken glass everywhere because of the broken down camps next to it. The pictures online are not what it looks like in real life. We had to bring everything, per the owner’s instructions, including the kitchen sink. We even had to bring our own chairs to sit outside! The ad for this place was very misleading. Will not stay here again, and I’ve stayed in some rough places throughout the USA.

The amenities we do not provide are sent in a list prior to your stay and upon booking, we are transparent about what we do not provide. The outdoor furniture is accurate in the photos, we had no extra chairs shown in any of the photos, what was shown is the picnic table which is still on property. We do apologize for the smell and were glad we were able to take care of that issue, as we found it was a rug. We do not have control over neighboring properties, but keep the rental property up. All photos shown are accurate.
Everything was great, location atmosphere and cleanliness. The only issue was the oven door. If you narely touched it, it would fall down. It appeares to be broken so we never used the oven

February trip
Grand isle is a place that we love. We visit at least once a year if not more. We stay in a different place every time so this was our first stay at this place. We arrived Friday and checked out Sunday so just a small weekend trip. The place was easy to find but the surrounding areas were beat up and broken. This, im sure, is still damage from Hurricane Ida which is understandable, however, the pictures on the listing does not showcase this. This normally would not be a big deal but we did have small children (4, 6, 7) that could have easily gotten hurt from broken glass and wood pieces with nails sticking out. The check in process was easy after finding the lock box. After getting in and looking around, the place itself was clean. There were plenty of towels and beds and looked really good. Even though the place was clean and roomy, I cannot in good faith give this place a good rating. The grill out on the balcony was broken and very rusted and damaged. I immediately called the number provided to let them know and the lady told me the owners would be on the island at some point over the weekend but in the meantime would try and find us a replacement. We left for a little bit and came back to a new grill downstairs, but this grill was also insanely rusted and unusable. We ended up buying a small tabletop grill for the weekend. After being out all day Saturday, we came back to cook dinner and the oven wouldn't close all the way. We tried to pull out the boiler that wa
