About this property

The Suite will give you the comfort of home with detailed warm touches.

I was influenced to build out this suite when I remodeled my house. I had rented a similar style unit and made a list of all the things I liked or wished I had during my stay. So far I have great feedback from how the unit feels when you get inside. It is located near multiple local business, coffee shops and restaurants as well as about 12 min from downtown Portland. The unit has wireless internet as well as the use of bikes available to get out and experience the local community.

Home away from home!

Comfy, safe and the perfect location!! As a single female traveler I felt right at home in the apartment. It was clean, in a good area of town that was centrally located between good food shopping and fun! The own was quick to respond and made me feel welcome!

A beautiful place to stay!

What a great little place to stay! Kyle was great with communicating with us and making sure we had everything we needed. He was a fantastic host. But the place, man was it just the cutest little hangout spot! The pictures look amazing online, but once we got there, it looked even better!! Loved every part of it and all the bike decor. Would definitely stay here again:)

Quaint and Quiet

The Bicycle Lounge is located in a very quiet neighborhood; easy access to 99 and 5. The property was very accommodating for two inside and out; bbq, patio table and chairs where you can enjoy the beautiful Oregon weather. There was even a corn hole set. We definitely would consider this property again when visiting our son.

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Large family room with plenty of seating. Loved the high quality matching crockery and silverware. Plenty of thick towels and Trader Joes toiletries - no skimping - this is truly a home from home. Even has a toaster oven & microwave. Quiet & peaceful - we will definitely be back when we visit our 2 sons in Portland.

Everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. Kyle was very accommodating and responded to messages in a timely fashion. We had two special requests that were honored without question. The location is close to a great coffee house and has easy access to Hwy 217 and I-5. Shopping is super close and so is Benihana which is a always a plus in my book. I highly recommend Kyle’s VRBO.

Basement apartment, is this what you want? Not me!

I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the listing, but this is a basement apartment. Things I noticed: - I could hear the owners TV and footsteps above me - There didn't appear to be a way to adjust the air temperature; I suspect it was controlled from above. It was very cold at night and overly warm in the morning - I was expecting a full kitchen, but again I guess I missed it, there is no stove - As you enter/exit you have to walk past the owners open windows Had I noticed these things in the listing I would not have stayed here.

Spacious, clean, and a convenient location. Hosts were easy to work with and thoughtful. Easy access to the freeways. Even a high speed charger for our electric car was only 3 minutes away at Walmart. Overall a perfect stay.

Very clean, comfy and thoughtful touches

This was a perfect place for my wIfe who studies at the nearby school. There is a store in walking distance and easy walk to the school itself. Bed was comfortable and it had a nice amount of space. Thoughtful touches throughout including 3 types of bed pillows so you can be happy w whatever you normally use. Thanks!

Nice space

The space was clean. Bed was comfortable. The neighborhood wasn’t the nicest, but quiet and accessible. My only suggestion would be more induction cookware for those that do cook.

Nice stay in Oregon

Our stay was perfect without any hiccups. We were visiting our family in Oregon City and although not as close as we would like the location was a quick freeway ride with easy on and off of the interstate. The entrance is private and we saw the owners only a couple of times. It is a basement apartment but there was little overhead noise. We cooked only bagels for breakfast and all of our other meals were at our family's home or restaurants. Coffee was supplied and quite good. We would consider staying there next year if available.

We enjoyed staying here. It's very clean, well-appointed, and nicely decorated. It has everything you need. The owners are very nice and accommodating. It's also close to shopping... a five-minute walk to the grocery store. It's a great value.

Oregon visit

It was our first VRBO experience. This was a great choice for a place to stay. Much better than a hotel. Very homey and comfortable. Location was great. Close to family, breweries and beautiful scenery.

Quiet and well-suited

My only suggestion would be some utensils for the kitchen. There is neither flatware nor cooking implements, just pots/pans and plates . . . and fingers. :-) The purchase of some plasticware helped a lot.

Great place overall. Cold at first and was better once we opened up the vents. Wish there would have been napkins or paper towels for us to use. Other than that it was pretty great place.
