Cozy and just what we needed

This simple, cozy spot was perfect for a short stay visiting with my family that lives here. The beds were comfortable and we relaxed watching Netflix and catching up like we'd hoped to.

Needs some repairs

I'll start with the positive: the king-sized bed is the most comfortable bed I've slept on. Ultimately, everything inside the house would be fine if it just worked. We had issues with the alarm when we arrived; the wifi didn't work, nor did the coffee maker or the jetted tub. We left early because we didn't read the reviews carefully enough and didn't feel safe staying there.with the kids. Had it just been me and my husband, we might have stayed.

This home is not at all charming. It is unmaintained, dirty, moldy, unsafe, and not at all the place you'd want to vacation in. Three weeks into the rental we moved out due to health and safety reasons, voiced those concerns to the host, they told us it was an older home with some cosmetic imperfections and we waited too long to notify them of the issues. We had 2 months or so left on the rental and sent someone else to check it out. The alarm code had been changed and when the police arrived he asked if we had "protection" because the area was "extremely rough", then suggested we stay elsewhere. Stay at your own risk.

Disappointed

Upon arrival the door Vrbo app was having issues so I could not get door code. The code they gave me did not work so had to keep calling to get them to let us in and reset door. It was freezing cold and I had groceries and kids in the car. Also when we entered the tv was hanging off the wall and plant knocked over and basement door kicked open. Someone broke into the place! We called and homeowners came over and offered to refund money. I had my gun with me so I wasn’t too worried, but we decided to stay. Owners were nice and apologized but it was pretty scary. They ended up refunding 1 day.

Short visit

My cousin and I booked this place when we came down for a short visit with our other cousin that was on life support. It was clean and spacious for just her an i and so inviting will probably book again if I have to come back. Also it was so close to everything!!!

Great experience

My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed or stay here for a quick getaway. Very quick access to the expressway and other shopping needs. Will definitely try to stay again if possible

Enjoyed our stay!

We would definitely stay here again! Cute cozy bungalow! Minutes from anywhere we needed to get to. We made it through the winter storm of 2021 here! The host was wonder.

Nice, clean house with everything needed

The house was clean and very well decorated. Everything was older but in good working order. Neighborhood was not the best, and neighbors were very loud at times, but overall it served its purpose.

Don't make the same mistake we did

When we pulled up to the house, the side door, where you enter had CLEARLY been kicked in previously. The neighborhood was not good. There was a man, one house over, standing in the road with very loud music AND holding a gun. We contacted the owner and she simply stated that "if we feel in danger call 911" and "you do know that AR is an open carry state."

Unfortunately a lack of communication lead to such accusations. The home is listed on several platforms and has never received a review or report such as the one mentioned. The home is in a good neighborhood and has not been broken into. The home is monitored by security cameras on each door. The home also sits on a large lot. There’s no neighborhoods behind the home, In front of the home or the the left side of the home. The closest neighbor is a respected Deacon. It is always best practices to call 911 for such issues mentioned not the Host; which is also a house rule. It is unfortunate that communication stopped when I asked if everything was ok and even more unfortunate that the guest never stayed at the home.

Everything was exactly how it said on the description The host Tonya was unbelievably awesome to us. She responds very quickly if you need to reach out to her . We will definitely stay there again . I would give them 10 stars if I could
