WOW! What a historic and tastefully restored gem!! From the gleaming, original 1920's hardwood floors to the intricate wood trim and fixtures this home has three wonderful bedrooms complete with a master ensuite bath with jetted tub. The main level also features a guest bedroom and full bath. Need an extra bed? No problem-the couch has a full pull-out bed! The kitchen feels modern and spacious without sacrificing its historic allure. Pots, pans, silverware and seasonings are provided for you in the kitchen, no need to bring a thing! A large upper level has a guest bedroom. You'll enjoy the wrap-around porch that takes advantage of the sizable corner lot. The home sits across the road from the Centralia Public Library, steps away from the Centralia Historical Museum and just a few blocks from the historic downtown. Centralia boasts multiple restaurants, a grocery store, and hosts several festivals each year. Just a short drive from the university town of Columbia (home of the University of Missouri, Stephens College and Columbia College). Take out ALL the trash in kitchen and bathrooms, take trash to trash bin by garage - clean out all food in the fringe and counter
Please shut off lights, and lock the door when leaving
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Trash must be placed in proper recepticles (provided in each bathroom and in kitchen). If kitchen bag is full, please place in trashcan in garage

Outstanding Stay!

We were there for 5 days to see family and inter my parents. The house was immaculate and central to all Centralia has to offer. The home even came with coffee and a few libations. We will stay again!

Adorable home

Just the perfect place to hang out with family while visiting more family in town. The house was decorated for Christmas and super quaint. Lots of amenities made us feel right at home. The beds were pretty firm and not comfortable that was the only downside.

Beautiful home with a great history

My daughter just graduated from University of Missouri. I was shocked to find out that Mr Rollins was one of its founding fathers. Our stay could not have been any better. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were endless. We also loved the Chance gardens just across the street. Thank-you for the great memories made.

I rented this house for my mother and one of her friends who were attending a family reunion. She texted daily about how lovely it was. It was also convenient to her family and visiting Columbia. We could not have made a better choice.

House was perfect. Well appointed and very comfortable. We were in town for a funeral and it was within walking distance to a grocery store which made it convenient for our food purchases. The two children enjoyed the game cabinet as well. Nice to be able to cook and dine at this house instead of the hotel we were previously planning on booking! We absolutely loved it!

Perfect home while in town for a family gathering.

This home made our weekend in town for my son and daughter-in-law’s baby shower perfect! 6 of us from out of town stayed at the property and made wonderful family memories! We baked and decorated cupcakes in the spacious kitchen! We played games in the living room. The front porch and adoreable back porch were perfect spots to sit and visit! Thank you for maintaining and providing this wonderful historic home! We will be back!

Welcoming, excellent place to stay

We stayed a few days for our granddaughter's Univl of Mo. graduation. Our grandson, his wife and my husband stayed here and so glad we found this place to stay. It's an historic house that is beautifully decorated. Even more so , it was a welcoming, comfortable place to stay. The owner was very gracious and so helpful, which we really appreciated. . I would love to visit again, and especially sit in the back porch. Thanks again to the owner for her friendliness and thoughtfulness.!

Amazing!

This property is great for family! It’s located just across from the library and the pool and park is just down the street a few blocks. Check in is super easy with a keyless entry. The beds seem new and firm but have a little give. Amazing pillows and blankets. The air conditioning works great! And had plenty of room for the 6 of us to spread out and have our own space and time! The Kitchen is well stocked. Had lots of left over spices and oil if needed. Coffee maker works wonderful! We had such a pleasant time. Thank you Betty!

Beautifully restored and maintained home!

Ms. Betty has done an amazing job preserving and maintaining the 100 year old home. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet her as we arrived a little early and she was decorating the lawn for the holidays. Check in/out was seamless and she was also willing to work with our schedule and allow us a little extra time on the final day in the event we would have needed it. This was a guys’ trip that conveniently coincided with hunting season, but even us men still appreciated the decorations. Unlike some other short term rentals I have stayed, Ms. Betty provided plenty of basics, such as paper towels, TP, seasonings, a few drinks, etc. I later learned that the owner and I share a mutual friend, and this friend stated that she is an all-around amazing individual who is willing to help anyone at any time. We look forward to hopefully returning next year and will absolutely look to book this property again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Rollins House Inn. It was a beautiful older home, located close to town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We were there for my Dad's 90th birthday, so this house was perfect for our family to stay at. Betty was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!
