Hot tub after skiing or hiking! Close to Ski Resorts and has a workstation.

An open concept basement apartment with daylight windows. Two bedrooms and a full bath. Perfect for a weekend, week or extended stay. Two XL twin beds or king bed (made upon request) and a bonus crib. A queen size bed with a workstation desk.

Suite has a full bathroom with makeup washcloths and a robe. Also includes beach towels for the hot tub and many bath towels.

Kitchenette amenities are microwave, convection oven, coffee maker & hot plate with pans and utensils.

Family room has a projection TV (130") to meet your needs while staying here. A children's Harry Potter play area.

Property is close to restaurants, malls, Mountain America Exposition Center, Aquarium and TRAX and buses to ski area.

Parking available on the driveway. House with electronic entry locks. No contact check in.

Very quiet upscale neighborhood.

We clean with Clorox and have hand sanitizer. We want everyone to be safe.

Great SLC Property

Great location to access skiing. Heather and Ken were great hosts in their beautiful home. Hot Tub was a big plus. Projection TV on big wall was also great. Kitchen was very well stocked.

Great for ski trip

We had a great stay here. Plenty of room and we liked the projector screen. We hadn’t realized our entrance was through the front door instead of a separate, private entrance but it was just fine and didn’t affect our stay. We lived the location. Close to skiing and close to a lot of food options as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean, private retreat with Hot Tub access!

Huge space with great, kind hosts. Hot tub was great after skiing! Kitchenette does not have stove but has 2 hot plates!

Just what we needed

Daily trips to Alta were a breeze and the Spurlock’s made the stay wonderfully welcome. Best way to enjoy several days driving to and from Alta/Snowbird with easy access to the rest of the city. Thank you Heather!

A wonderful stay

This rental met and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well equipped, and close to everything we wanted to do. The hosts live upstairs, so it was easy to communicate with them. They were friendly and respected privacy. I highly recommend staying at this rental

Super comfortable place

The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. We love how comfortable the beds and couches are. It is very clean and the a/c feels great on hot summer days. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family trip

Our family loved our stay at this property. With our 11-month-old and 4-year-old, the provided toys and crib were a lifesaver. The neighborhood was safe and easy to get around, with everything just a short drive away. The hosts were incredibly nice, making us feel welcomed. We can't wait to visit again!

Second visit this year

Both visits were wonderful. This is a nice finished basement and is in great condition, very clean and well stocked. At first we were concerned about not having a range to cook on, but then we discovered the rice cooker, the electric skillet, and the crock pot, not to mention the microwave and toaster oven. The hot tub and outside grill are both nice and appreciated. I am already planning my trips for next year.

Prime Location for Ski Vacation

This is a great place to stay if you're going to ski the SLC ski areas. The space was clean and the kitchen area was well equipped for light meals. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was excellent for relaxing after a long day of skiing. The hosts were gracious and friendly.

The finished basement looked new and very clean. The hosts live in the home above and are very nice and welcoming. Good location to the Cottonwood canyons. The big projector on the wall is nice.

Ski vacation

Hosts were very friendly and attentive! The space was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the projector TV. The town of Sandy has a huge selection of stores and restaurants, plus getting to the mountains is quite easy. Was a great stay.

Wonderful location for a Family trip to the slopes

My family had a wonderful stay. The space was just as described. It was well appointed and had just the right "feel at home" touches, although i can attribute that feeling of being right at home to the hosts who we just fantastic hosts. We had a small hiccup when checking in but they helped us through it and just welcomed us right into the home as if we were old friends. Wonderful people. Back to the suite, it was very clean and having the full washer and dryer was great and super helpful. We are particular about how well a space is cleaned as that is really make or break for us and we were pleased with the space was in great shape, clean, and well maintained. The projector TV was a very nice and welcome touch as well and very easy to use. Location is great and close to so many restaurants and easy drive to several ski resorts.

Great base for LCC skiing!

Awesome place to stay! Quick access to Little Cottonwood Canyon (LCC) skiing. We hot tubbed every night and having the movie projector was nice. Ken was chatty, insightful and even let us park in the garage and use some of his tools to perform a minor car repair during a rain storm.

Spacious basement apartment, great hot tub, one mile to excellent Harmon's grocery store. Close to fantastic Indonesian restaurant MakanMakan. Kitchen is not really for cooking. No dishwasher, dish rack, or freezer. Small refrigerator. Bathroom is in one of the two bedrooms. Great full wall projector TV. Heather and Ken are great hosts, super friendly and ready to help with anything. Huge, comfortable beds. Great value, close to the Cottonwood ski resorts.

Ken is from Spokane, WA. I am from SLC. We met at in college. In Utah we love the mountains, lakes and my family that is here. We raised our family of six boys here in the Millcreek area. Some of our kids have moved away from Utah so we have more places to visit. In our suite we highlight some of our favorite activities and views of Utah as we decorated this space.

We are empty nesters sitting in a big beautiful home. Ken and I wanted to share some of our space. Ken and I are travel lovers, using our road trips, motorhome and cruises. In traveling we enjoy using VROB/airbnb's they are home away from home. After our success here, we started another airbnb in St. George. A place that is warm all year long. and close to the national parks. We love national parks especially Utah's'. It is an oasis in St George.

Why they chose this property

We have loved the neighborhood because it is close to great restaurants, shopping areas and quick to catch a train downtown. We are close to the 11400 exit on I-15 so getting around is easy. We have a park two blocks away and close to trains and buses to get to the resorts.

What makes this property unique

Skiers love being so close to the ski resorts. Our hot tub is loved all year long on a cold winter night and later in the summer. Also the washer and dryer is appreciated with the long stays. We are people who enjoy hosting and meet people all over the world. There is a safe feeling in this space. People love being at home and come back to stay with us.
