About this property

Like-new construction home comfortably sleeps eight guests. Located one mile from Wax Marina and a short, scenic drive to Mammoth Cave National Park.

The home boasts beautiful hardwood floors, cathedral style ceilings and a full kitchen with plenty of utensils, plates, cookware. There is abundance of outdoor entertaining and dining space with the covered patio, wraparound deck and propane grill. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The downstairs sleeping quarters has a king bed and set of bunk beds. There's also a couch and loveseat, both pullout into beds.

There is a ping pong table, fire pit, wireless internet, Sling TV and Netflix. Nearby are two gas stations, perfect for groceries, boating supplies and fishing tackle. Finally, checking in and out is super easy with on site parking and a secure keypad entry!

Perfect home for family getaway

Great house with plenty of room for our family to enjoy our weekend getaway. Property was just as described and very clean. There were plenty of towels and bed linens provided. Very quiet street/neighborhood allowed us to enjoy the deck as well as enjoy s’mores around the fire pit in the evenings. This property served as our home base as we explored Mammoth Cave during the day. Would also be a great lake house in summer with convenient access to everything Nolan Lake has to offer.

Short visit with family

We met up family who were renting a nearby home for a short weekend visit. The GPS took us a bit too far beyond the home, but that was the only issue we had during our stay. We did day trips to the state park beach and Mammoth Caves. Highly recommended.

Family Fun While Caving

Nice, quiet getaway when visiting Mammoth Cave. Great for our family of six. The kids loved the ping-pong. Wrap around porch was nice

Family Vacation

Location was nice, close to Lake. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Kids loved the ping pong table. Enjoyed the scenic drive to Mammoth Cave.

Great place for a family

Lots of sleeping spots, and 2 bathrooms! Short walk to the lake. Kids loved the ping-pong table. Having upstairs and downstairs areas gave everyone some space. This family of 6 had a great stay.

As a kid I spent countless summers at the lake and always dreamed of having a place there as an adult. In 2017, I was able to actualize my dream and purchased a home on the very street I frequented as kid over 20 years ago. What better way to share a dream than literally open your doors for others' enjoyment as well?
