Was private and very family friendly with bedrooms and kitchens on both floors. Not as close to Mammoth Cave visitor center as I had hoped. Not very clean.
The cabin was amazing and in the perfect location. Even thought the state park was closed the fire pit and nature gave us plenty to do. The cabin was clean and the host was very responsive. We already said when we come back we want to book this cabin again…. It was just amazing!!
Perfect size for our family to spend a few days exploring the caves and lake.

Our Stay
The toilet upstairs did not flush. Spider webs on the front light and back screened in porch like it has been vacant for a while. Refrigerator upstairs started leaking the second day so had to move it out and turn off the water, so we had no ice.

Very quiet steep driveway if your going to stay there with family or friends I would stay in the upstairs
The place was clean, spacious, and in a great location (close to the lake and close to Mammoth Cave National Park). We would definitely stay here again.
Property was listed as 16 miles from mammoth cave park Would be vital to add that it is actually 42 minutes We had additional family in cave city, which was a haul for them with their young children Both grills are unusable We loved the room and outside areaDinosaur World was fun for the kids Lost river cave was worth the trip as well as Kentucky down under
The house was very nice. Everything we needed was there for us. We all had plenty of room.
We spent each night at the fire pit. Great time was had by all of us!
We had a fun time here. It's a short walk to the beautiful sunsets by the lake and had everything we needed for a family vacation. The grill worked well, the fire pit was perfect for smores, and the extra kitchen worked well for keeping drinks cold.
Family from 3 states came together to visit and see Mammoth Cave and Nashville. The house was very comfortable and located a short walk from trails and the water in Nolan State park. It’s located away from everything and very quiet, but also a fairly quick drive to stores and food. We enjoyed our time there very much! We especially enjoyed watching the rabbits and deer eat breakfast every morning from the large porch!!
This house was perfect for two families since there are two kitchens, and everybody had their own space.
Although I would not recommend sleeping downstairs as you can hear every noise from the upstairs area.
We stayed here with our friends to celebrate my husband's birthday and go hiking at Mammoth cave. It was very clean, easily accessible, and was reasonably close to mammoth cave. A little further down the road there is also a little park with a lake that had an incredible sunset when we were there.

We had a very nice visit.
The accommodations were excellent, clean, and spacious for our group. The only problem was the air conditioning on the main level of the house did not work.
The house is easy to find, although there are neighbors, when you sit in the screened porch you feel like you're on total privacy. The owner was very nice and answered the text I sent quickly. It was right next to Nolin Lake and a relatively quick ride to Mammoth Cave. My whole family enjoyed the house with plenty of room to spread out.
A very nice house tucked away in the state park. Make sure the ferry is actually running before heading to the national park, and make sure that you’ve got a vehicle that can make it up a steepish gravel driveway (it was touch and go in our minivan). Other than that, the hosts do a great job of communicating everything you need to know about the property!
We had a lovely time at this place with our family! The fire pit was a hit for the kids, we all enjoyed some laughs by the fire. The screened in porch was a great spot to sit with your coffee in the morning.
Only issue was getting up the driveway. If you don’t have 4 wheel drive, the gravel uphill can be a battle.
