Hello and welcome to The Dam* Dam House!
We attended Miami University, where we played Division 1 field hockey for five years. After graduating and wrapping up our athletic careers, we started looking for our next adventure. Since we've always loved to travel, hosting felt like a natural fit.
Designing and creating spaces like this has become something we truly enjoy, especially knowing families and friends get to make lasting memories here. The Dam* Dam House was built to feel nostalgic, comfortable, and fun - the kind of place that brings everyone together.
We hope you feel right at home and enjoy every moment of your time away!

Why they chose this property
We discovered this tucked-away cabin and immediately saw its potential. It felt like the kind of place that could become a true escape — quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by everything that makes this part of Kentucky so special.
The Dam* Dam House sits in an area known for its natural beauty and outdoor adventure. Just a short drive away is Mammoth Cave National Park, home to the world’s longest cave system and miles of hiking, kayaking, and wildlife-filled landscapes. Nearby Nolin Lake offers some of the region’s best boating, swimming, and laid-back lake days.
This location makes the house an ideal home base for guests who want to explore during the day and return to a cozy, nostalgic retreat at night. Whether it’s cave tours, lake outings, trail walks, or simply unplugging in nature, there’s something uniquely grounding about spending time here.
We’re excited to share it and hope you enjoy experiencing the area as much as we do.

What makes this property unique
The Dam* Dam House sits on over two acres and is tucked among trees on three sides, giving it a peaceful, private feel that makes it easy to unplug and settle in. We’ve filled the home with games and activities so that even on rainy days, there’s always something to do and no one feels bored.
One of our favorite ways to bring people together is through food, so we’ve thoughtfully stocked the newly renovated kitchen with the tools and equipment you need to prepare and share a family meal. Whether it’s a big breakfast before a day on the lake or dinner together at night, the space is designed to make gathering easy and enjoyable.
And when the day winds down, the fire pit becomes the natural gathering place — a spot for s’mores, stories, and quiet evenings under the trees. It’s often where the best moments of the trip happen.
