Let this relaxing well-equipped beach home be the classic vacation retreat you need. Enjoy the privacy of a wooded setting right next to the ocean (you may even see a deer in the backyard), very close to the local golf course and less then three miles from downtown Long Beach. Enjoy the downtown restaurants, beachfront horseback riding, ice cream shops, antiquing, bakery, movie theater, boardwalk, arcade for the kids and general entertainment.
Enjoy the spaciousness of the house to relax or entertain your group. Delight with an easy 8-10 minute private walk to the beach through the woods and the dunes. Have summer cookouts on the deck or just relax and enjoy the views of the secluded backyard encased in bushes and trees for the ultimate in privacy.
The whole group will sleep well with a pillow top king size bed in the primary bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom, and 2 twin beds in the third room, plus a bonus full size futon in the living room. You can have all your friends and family share its ample space with plenty of room for relaxing or entertaining. Use our large expandable dining room table to seat your entire party for a getaway dinner. Curl up with a book and relax on the couch on those cool winter nights.
Historically known as a fishing and clamming area, the Long Beach Peninsula now also boasts whale watching, fishing charters (inland and ocean), hiking, boating & kayaking. Enjoy easy access to Cape Disappointment in the south end of the peninsula, Ledbetter Point on the north end, Willapa Bay, the Port of Illwaco and Fort Canby State Park in nearby historic Astoria right across the river

This house is wonderful. Perfect for a family get together. Everything that was promised was provided and when the storm threatened to take out the power the host was very helpful and made sure we were prepared on case of a power outage. We will come back.

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO in Long Beach! The home was beautifully decorated with charming beachy accents and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. The hike to the beach offered stunning views of local wildlife, and once there, it almost felt like we had our own private stretch of sand. Spotting deer and pelicans made it even more special. We will definitely be returning to this home for future getaways!

A little further to the beach then we thought. Grill was charcoal with only enough charcoal for one use. Some dog poop around property and kitchen countertops could have been a little cleaner. Right next to the highway, so some traffic noise. A nice big space with lots of amenities. We really enjoyed the fire pit and privacy.

Awesome place

We had a wonderful time at this place with the family, slept 7 comfortably. The backyard is a plus plus, quite and surrounded by trees and can hear the surf crashing in the background! The house is beautiful inside and a marvelous kitchen to cook in!

Environmentally sensitive design as home is setback from the ocean dunes buffered by a beautiful forest. The walk is quite serene via a meandering trail on relatively level ground. One needs to be able to walk about 1/4 mile to the beach.

Lovely beach house

Spacious home and well stocked kitchen, just as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay - and the walk to the beach for razor clams. The deck was perfect for afternoon relaxation and reading. Quiet neighborhood. Looks like fun for summer, too. Would stay again!

The Host was easy to communicate with. Finding the place was easy as the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Access was simple even in the dark. The house is clean and well appointed. We deck and yard are very welcoming. I would easily stay again.
