This complex has amazingly well-maintained common areas, several gardens, a playground for kids, multiple pools, water canals for kayaking through the property, and a rooftop with hot tubs and a dining area. The rental itself is equipped with a full kitchen for preparing your own tasty meals, a patio to relax on while having a drink, and a Smart TV with WiFi to stream any programs.

Mayakoba is a new development right outside of Playa del Carmen. The rental and the surroundings are completely new, with a luxurious touch. It is quiet, relaxing, and just a short drive to Playa, where you can walk down La Quinta, do some shopping, and dine at popular local restaurants. You'll be able to book a number of fun activities, such as scuba diving, and visit the theme parks along the highway. Or set out to explore Tulum Jaguar Park (Parque del Jaguar).

The host was welcoming and the property was amazing. More upfront jnfo on how you would sleep 6 would have been appreciated. One little girl selpt in the kimg bed with parents but if it was a teen, they would have been on a couch with no linen or pillow.

Great Stay at a Well-Equipped Apartment!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It was super well-equipped, with everything from kitchen appliances to fast Wi-Fi, making it very comfortable and convenient. The common areas were also excellent, with a gym, pool, and well-maintained outdoor spaces. Everything was clean and well-organized. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a well-rounded, comfortable stay!

Beautiful condo in the middle of Nothing!! 20 minute taxi ride to the ferry where all the shopping is. Couldn't use hot tubs due to poor mgmt communication 24hr notice required & only aloud 3 hours total. Arrive early you're s.o.l no water, food, bathroom due to lack of communication. A map of area would of been priceless. If you don't know how to use Whatsapp RUN to a different option. The place is Beautiful but worst experience out of the 6 years.

Good for only a few days!

We have stayed at the Lagunas mayakoba 4 different times, because it’s such a beautiful place full of plants, flowers, and the sounds of nature. Also the double security is wonderful to have in a foreign country. We stayed Each time under different owners. Upon arrival and after a very long day at customs there apparently was a miss communication problem between security and Vacasa and we had to wait 30 mins to access our room. Security wouldn’t let us in. Thankfully Leo who was very helpful came and got us into our room. So let me begin with our actual experience and recommendation: Id advise you not to stay here if you have more than 2 people who need a bed. We had 3 people in our party and they only provided bedding/linen for two beds, and only sheets for the futon. When we requested a blanket and pillow we were advised by Leo that those are not in the inventory so we could not get any. The futon is not the normal bed futon it’s a chair that lays into a single person bed and the leg part doesn’t go up so you are sleeping at an angle with your feet hanging down. We had to use two of the games to prop up the leg section. The futons are not located in the second room they are in the living room. We had to go buy a blanket and pillow because as stated above the owner would not provide anything else than a sheet for beds 3 & 4, which essentially are only the two futons. Upon our 7th night with 3 left the owner gave approval for only a blanket no pillow. 🙄 I suppose they wanted us to be grateful🤷🏻‍♀️🙃 Second it states it’s 1800 square feet condo, I’m not sure what else they are adding to that dimension but it’s definitely not that large. The dish rack is extremely rusty so we had to go buy an extra towel to use to dry dishes. No dishwasher detergent is offered. Only dishwashing soap and one sponge which you will need to replace after a few days of using it. Once again a second one is not offered. The strainer they provided had some kind of red paint on it “assuming purchased that way” so when we used it the paint from the bottom came off and went into our food🤢 We also had to buy garbage bags those are not provided either, only the initial one. There are also no washcloths provided. Only hand towels, bath towels, and beach towels. So we had to go buy those too. Our first night the patio door wouldn’t lock so we weren’t fully secured, the following day they did send maintenance and he fixed the problem, he stated it will need to

The jungle atmosphere is very very nice great side walk walking paths. Friendly residents and security. Good pools and canal. Very quick response to slow shower drain. Exceeded our expectations and would definitely return. It is approximately 1 mile for convenience store or restaurants. Elemento’s and Yucatán very good. Town is a bit farther. We found a great taxi close to Lagunas, Victor Gonzalez, taxi dorado, +52 984.169 8079 very good service.

Quiet, comfortable get away.

The property is very clean and comfortable with nice decor, easily able to accommodate 2 couples or a small family. The grounds are beautiful with 3 pools (that we counted) and lush vegetation. Leonardo is responsive and helpful. We appreciated having the key on site in a lockbox. Also appreciated the washer/dryer. Please note, the property is located away from town (about 20 minutes) and there’s not much retail or restaurants close enough to be walkable. You will need a car or cab to get around or pick up supplies such as coffee, snacks, drinks or laundry detergent.

It was very clean, we just did not like the pools, or how to find them 🤷‍♀️, also going in and out of the gate could be easier. But since we has a condo in playa we went to our pool and beach. and got the in and out gate thing worked out. Manger was great 😎👍

Isis, the concierge, was not helpful. I feel that we were taken advantage of. I asked about options for covid testing prior to leaving the US. We were not given options that were cheaper. Additionally, when trying to set up transfer from the ferry with trying to work with check out of our previous place to the place at Lagunss, there was too much confusion with the taxi driver resulting in a far too expensive taxi drive. I did not communicste with Isis anymore and very upset with her service. Leo was very very helpful. We would like to thank Leo for service. Very appreciated!

Clean and very well equipped

The apartment is really the best equipped I have ever visit. You can make your morning shake, bake some breakfast muffins or a lasagna. You find beach towels, hair dryer and really everything. If you need something, they get back to you very fast and take care. The security and the cleaning stuff was always friendly and nice. Also you can enjoy a good night sleep, because it is really quit. We definitely recommend mayakoba Laguna 102b.
