About this property
Beautiful in Fall! Perfect spot on lake for fishing! Spacious home; Eagles near!
Beautiful land w/ eagles close by and a path behind our house to lake access! Our lake house has A LOT of room! Almost 2000 sq feet to enjoy inside and outside spaces. We picked this home for how many it will sleep plus the TVA land that is right behind us that leads to a beautiful view of the lake. We have a King bed in the master and comfortable Queen beds in the spare room. If you have extras coming, plenty of sleeping areas on a Queen pull out couch and a futon in the game room. Extra living space in the sun room and game room with pool table and dart board.

About the host
Hosted by Richard Barbas
We have been in the vacation rental business for fourteen years and love to travel ourselves. We own a cottage by a creek in the Pigeon Forge area as well as this wonderful Pickwick lake house; we truly enjoy hosting to help create wonderful experiences and getaways. We believe in taking time for family and getting away from the busy lives we lead. Some of our best memories are from our travels.
Why they chose this property
This is our first property we purchased for our family and friends and it is close to our home town so we can get to it frequently - we have enjoyed Pickwick for years. We love that the home is large enough to sleep all the grand kids and that it has so many living spaces with an open kitchen floor plan. The backyard is like a park and a wonderful treed TVA path leads to a large opening to the lake - gorgeous views and access for us when we are on the boat. We are on a dead end road so it is quiet and peaceful with plenty of stars to see at night by the fire pit and we even have a pair of eagles nesting in a neighboring yard by the lake. We totally love it and are sharing it with guests, friends and family. Enjoy!
What makes this property unique
The ability to walk to the lake behind our home without the high price of a waterfront rental is a definite benefit to this home. We don't have a dock behind the house but we are about 2 minutes from the Tom Bigbee boat ramp at Yellow Creek and close to Aqua Yacht Marina. The location is perfect on the lake for access to Tom Bigbee and Goat Island as well as to the main Tennessee River channel. We drop anchor right behind our home and with a pontoon style boat, you can come right to shore to walk to the house.
