About the host
Hosted by Jocilyn
My first yurt experience was eight years ago and I was hooked. Mountains, wood stove with a warm fire, and surrounded by friends. What more could you want?! Eight of my girlfriends and I set out for an adventure and it is something we all still talk about and cherish to this day. In fact, it became an annual tradition for us! I met my husband and he quickly got hooked as well and joined in on our annual yurting adventures. In today's busy world of technology, it is incredibly enjoyable and rejuvenating to be far up in the mountains with those you love and care about without any distractions. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing or backcountry skiing during the day, and relaxing, playing games, and laughing the night away. That is what yurting is all about.
If you've never had a yurting adventure, you're going to wish you discovered yurts a long time ago! If you've already been yurting, then you have lots of your own stories and we don't need to convince you of anything. Book your adventure!
We look forward to your stay!

Why they chose this property
Yurts are magical. This is a new and fully stocked yurt in the beautiful backcountry of northern Utah. The views from our deck are impressive. This area has endless trails and is the perfect spot for a base camp after adventuring all day. This yurt is located halfway between Monte Cristo parking lot and Hardware Ranch. Whether you want to hit the powder all day or go over to Hardware Ranch for lunch and to check out the elk, you won't beat this location.
What makes this property unique
Staying in a round room with those you care about is unique and facilitates lots of talking and laughing.
