Incredible!
This home exceeded our expectations! It is even more beautiful than the photos, and the views to the Luberon are magnificent. The garden is lovely and well maintained, giving pretty views from the dining balcony, the bedrooms, and from the seating areas around the pool (which the children never left). The living areas and kitchen are comfortable, well supplied, and beautifully decorated. There were even some board games. The bedrooms have nice views, and the beds are comfortable. With two floors of living space, we had plenty of room for our family of eight to spread out. The easy 5 minute walk to the village of Charleval with boulangerie, small grocery store, and a couple of small restaurants made it even better. Many picturesque towns and tourist attractions are within a half hour to an hour away by car, so there is plenty to see and do. The host was very gracious, welcoming, and responsive to all of our questions, and had a complete notebook of sightseeing options. It is a French countryside retreat that you will not easily forget!
