Good Times
We had a great time at the cabin, Communication was excellent. The cabin was the cleanest and best organized of any of the VRBO properties we have stayed.. The only thing that I can think of that could use improvement would be the pillows and the couch. Plenty of hummingbirds to watch also deer. Again we had a great time.

Awesome
This was just what the “doctor “ ordered. Nice, quite, small and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was cool enough to make a fire in the stove every day. We spent most of our time in the living room watching the fire, reading books and watching the hummingbirds outside. The bed was comfortable. The water stayed hot for 2 showers. Only thing that they could have had was extra blankets to use when sitting on the couch or floor. The driveway is small but it works we parked sideways and felt better. Overall, we would come back. Forgot to mention it was hard to breathe due to it being 10,000 ft. But after a few days we started feeling better.

Very disappointed
The property description is misleading, particularly the “secluded” claim. The structure is located about 30 yards from one road and bordered by another that endures significant heavy truck traffic. The sounds of semis descending from Hoosier Pass is very frequent during daylight hours. The description suggests a “kitchenette” when, in fact, the kitchen, dining, and living area are all one quite small room. Finally, the “fireplace” is actually a very small woodburning stove. We were quite disappointed.

Perfect mini honeymoon!
A surprise weekend trip for my new hubby! This cabin was so unique and cozy for the 2 of us!! The perfect quiet spot up in the mountains, yet only a 15 min drive to Breckenridge for any town activities! The hosts were VERY quick to respond with any questions we had! They also provide plenty of wood for the wood burning stove, and a nice supply of hot chocolate for those cold nights! And to top it off, we saw 3 moose right outside our door! Incredible! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway for two, I highly recommend this cabin!

Why they chose this property

Blue River is a beautiful hidden location 10 minutes away from the slope and secluded. Within 1 mile from the place is the Myla Rose Saloon, which serves mountain food and good local spirits! The neighborhood itself is great for scenic walks, and the property is abut to wetlands green space owned by the Town of Breckenridge so it's quiet.

What makes this property unique

Below and adjacent to the property are series of cascading beaver ponds. Additionally, moose have visited and grazed on the property in the early morning as seen in photos.
