Was fantastic, enjoyed the property, kids had fun, Host were the best very responsive and felt more like family. Will stay here again. Close enough to the store to pick up supplies, much better than any hotel could ever be. Thank you for such a great stay
This place was tucked far enough in the woods where one can appreciate a quiet morning. Place was clean, cozy and comfortable. No internet and very little cell service (w/ Verizon) which makes the stay even better, forcing one to truly disconnect! I enjoyed this place and would most definitely return.
Great communication, directions. Quiet and clean. Perfect for our weekend at Silverwood and more affordable than the hotels around this area.

Like a step back in time. The property is more than unique. The onsite owners are respectful of your privacy but are like having a concierge. The setting is relaxing. The beds are comfortable. The sheep are unique as is the resident duck. I'd mention the stairway to upstairs bedroom, but the host transported our luggage, coming and going. Don't consider this property if you like being in the center of a busy community because the peace and tranquility might unsettle you.
Everything was just perfect about our stay! Communication with the hosts was clear and helpful. Mark, Max (the dog), and the sheep heard all welcomed us as we pulled in and our teens absolutely loved it! Mark even let them feed the sheep and ducks, which they’re still talking about more than the trip to silverwood. Going to Silverwood was our main reason for the stay, which was a quick and easy 20 min drive.
The guest house was clean and had everything we could possibly need or want, including fun family games for us and our 4 teens. There was also plenty of beds which was awesome since our kids all appreciate having their own space.
Overall, we loved our stay and this will definitely be our go-to lodging for any future Silverwood trips.
Awesome stay! Wonderful home in a great quiet location. Guest house was close enough yet far enough away from host. All rooms were very comfortable stayed cool despite the heat outside. Owner provided bottled water and everything needed for us to make breakfast and late night dinners after closing down Silverwood. Very close to grocery store and siverwood. Dog and sheep were a hit too.
Wi-Fi/tv connection were hit and miss but had no effect on our trip as we were on the go most of the time . That was fully disclosed before we arrived. Everything the owner disclosed is accurate. Communication with the host was fantastic!
We would 100 percent stay here again and will the next time we go to Silverwood (about a 7 hr drive for us). Highly recommend this house for anyone coming to this area !
Overall, the stay was great. The house is really cute. Plenty of sleeping space, we actually had extra people come and management was great about it. The extra pillows and bedding were awesome. The only things I would mention for future renters is if you are a big coffee person or have a lot of coffee drinkers would suggest bringing your own pot. They do have a percolator, but that’s not always the easiest to use, it takes a while to brew and lots of grounds at the bottom. They also had a one cup Keurig Like in a hotel. For us, it was not an issue because we were gone most of the time we were there for a Silverwood trip, but the house is run on solar, and therefore the microwave could have issues being used after dark.Lastly, the plug-ins, were limited due to only a few being 110, it can make it difficult to charge many phones and then also using hairdryer, curling, iron, straightener, etc. again for us this was not an issue, but just something I would want others to be aware of.
Hosts are amazing! House is comfortable. Off the grid house is incredible. Mark is always offering help and asking to make our stay even better. Always look forward to our stay at their place.
The property was a great fit for our needs. Suoer clean and quiet. Close to Silverwood and the kids camps sites at Faragut State park. Worked great for us.
Our family was very happy with the cabin. We stayed for 2 nights to visit Silverwood, which was a short drive away. The owner was friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful remote cabin on a quiet property, but also within a quick drive to Silverwood, Farragut State Park, and other outdoor activities. Very polite and nice hosts!

Place is clean ,quiet and host is very accomodating.
Best value in the area for a couple or family. Clean, clean, clean and well furnished. Close to Silverwood and grocery. Beautiful property. Mark and Vicki are great hosts. The cabin was hand built by Mark and is solar powered which is really neat. He does a great job explaining which outlets are 110 for your charging needs. We just needed a place to sleep after a couple of long days out in the area and this was a great choice!
Second year staying with Mark and Vicki. The hosts are so welcoming. The house is welcoming and completely off grid. Comfortable for the whole family to stay and adventure around the area. We will be return again.

Tucked back and away from the noise and city, just what we wanted for our trip! We were on a trip around north Idaho to get away from all the hustle and crazy of the city life. This place was perfect for that!
This was a beautiful property! The owners were amazing and so considerate. My only note is that the shower head didnt work very well. But other than that it was 5 stars!
The house had everything you could want for a nice, quiet stay in the mountains. The owners were very responsive to any request (which was only for butter to cook eggs!), and even provided us with snacks and wine for our first day! It was a big house with lots of room. Although close to owner's house, felt very private. Enjoyed seeing the sheep and Max every day. We would highly recommend staying with Mark and Victoria.
Home was perfect for a family stay. Tons of room. Kids appreciated their own rooms and full kitchen & living room were great for eating and watching movies in the evening.
Very quiet and out of the busy areas yet only 10 minutes to Silverwood made it a great location!
