Amazing is an overused word, but truly. The historic building, the view, the appointments and decoration, the kindness and discretion of the hosts. Not only would we come back—we’d live in this wonderful, classy apartment, with ample space and perfect layout. A true pleasure to use this kitchen, with dishware of a quality unheard of in rentals. And no depressing internet -sourced , factory -made decoration: everything has been hand chosen, top quality. Clean, too. Village has a super restaurant, homemade and thoughtful cooking (need to reserve, it’s an artisanal enterprise). Also a épicerie open mornings with a little of everything and great local meats. Note however no WiFi: great cell reception but you will need to use your own data. Truly exceptional property and experience.

Relaxing space

Relaxing and well equipped. This gite is set in a beautiful location - large attractive grounds and a superb pool. Quite private, but close to a major road

Beautiful French Chateau in idyllic setting

The chateau itself is absolutely beautiful, recently restored to an exceptional standard. Our family of 4 (2 children age 11 & 13) stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites, which was very quiet. The owners Nina and Matthias could not have been more helpful, they made dinner reservations for us, advised us on where to cycle (we borrowed their bikes and had a fantastic bike ride along the tow path for 15km to lunch). The breakfast was excellent, traditionally French, but much more than just bread and jam that their website states. The children really enjoyed the swimming pool, but unfortunately we didn't have time to play tennis. Definitely recommended.
