What a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Not too far from town but yet felt miles away from everything. The host was wonderful and the cabin itself was just great. We thoroughly enjoyed making this a part of our trip. It really had those old cabin feels with having all the amenities. Thanks for letting us stay!
We had an amazing stay at the Charming Log Cabin in Bozeman. This was our 2nd stay. The cabin is charming and located in a breathtaking setting. The cabin is warm and inviting. The host is very helpful and welcoming. We hope to visit again!
We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay! The property was impeccable, and the host communication was excellent. We would definitely book this again!
Truly a great experience at the cabin. Comfortable and had everything we needed from bath towels to paper towels. Kitchen, grill, cookware, laundry all top notch and fully stocked. Extremely peaceful and secluded property with beautiful flowers, a creek and extended views. We saw several deer and a moose! Great base camp for exploring Montana and Yellowstone. Highly recommend!
This was one of the best stocked vacation rentals we've stayed in. It made hosting our daughter's graduation dinner for our family easy. The location is beautiful and relaxing.
The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was located next to a fantastic trail and only 25 minutes drive from Bozeman town centre. We would stay again and also recommend.
Loved the serenity and the privacy of the natural setting. The kitchen was equipped with everything I could have possibly needed and so was the rest of the cabin. The pictures do not do it justice.I would definitely recommend this cabin and plan to stay again. Oh, and the stream and the glider beside it was my favorite spot,
The cabin was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay. The creek and fire pit made for a very relaxing couple of nights. We highly recommend this place!
We loved our time at the cabin! It was beautiful both inside and out. It gave the perfect combination of a secluded cabin but was close to Bozeman. Thanks for a great week!
The cabin was more than expected. Location is just great. Quiet and calming. All is there for a fantastic stay. I would definitely recommend this VRBO to all. We hope to return in the future.
we had a wonderful trip! Hiking, brewery tastings, shopping downtown, Yellowstone! Felt like we were in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the sounds of the babbling creek.
Great spot at the end of the road, very private a beautiful spot.
Excellent experience. The check-in process was steller, great instructions - could not have been better. Everything in the cabin was clean and organized. We had a great experience!
Wow! This cabin is amazing. It’s the perfect mix of rustic with modern updates. My wife and I had a great stay here and even received some good snow storms that added to the serenity of the place. We definitely want to come back again and bring our teenage kids so we can all explore the area. Highly recommend this cabin and so glad I stumbled upon it in my search.
Absolutely beautiful cabin, even nicer than pictures online can show. Very thoughtful details and decor throughout. All supplies we could need in kitchen. Great location close to Bozeman and for seeing ghost towns and Yellowstone, but also very private and peaceful tucked away in a valley.
Absolutely loved our stay and hope to return soon!!!
Well stocked, clean and quiet property. Used bbq and fire pit. Hiked from property two of the days. Our 2nd stay here and just as wonderful as the first.
Everything in th cabin was perfect, from the furnishings to the very comfortable bed,we enjoyed our time whether sitting on the stone patio or cooking in the very well provided kitchen. Thank you so much! Hope to come back and spend more time.
This was our first trip to Montana and will not be our last! This house was everything we hoped for and more!! The owners dud not miss one small detail! They were communicative from the time we booked until the moment we left for our return. They answered every question promptly and gave great suggestions for activities. The house and property provided peace and relaxation. The house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property was well maintained. We spent a good amount of time sitting by the stream and around the fire pit. The location is perfect. We were close to everything we needed but far enough away from downtown for a peaceful setting. The hiking trail at the property entrance is very convenient! We made lots of memories here and can’t wait to return!
This cabin is amazing! The communication with the owner was top-notch. The peaceful property was very clean and had comfortable beds. The well-stocked kitchen has any tool and dish needed to make a meal and we used the BBQ twice. The kids loved having s'mores at the firepit. Already booked to come back a 2nd time.
Unbelievably special cabin. Very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 college kids). Loved the kitchen gas stove for some heat in the mornings. Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were all remodeled and beautiful. Loved the location for exploring Bozeman, Big Sky and surrounding mountains. Great location beside the Cottonwood Canyon trailhead so you can hike/bike right from the cabin.
The cabin and the property were perfect! I could feel the love and thought that went into every inch of this sweet little getaway tucked away in a private setting. Absolutely every detail inside and out was shear perfection. A Cozy, clean, top of the line and peaceful escape from this hectic world. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! I sure hope we get the chance to stay with you again!
This cabin was everything we hoped for and more. It was super clean, beautifully maintained, and tucked right in the valley of a mountain, surrounded by rolling hills, open farmland, and scenic views in every direction. A peaceful creek runs through the property, and the large outdoor space made it easy to relax and take it all in. Nights around the fire pit under the stars were unforgettable. The cabin itself was cozy, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials and then some—we actually chose to cook in most nights because it was that enjoyable.Mike, the host, was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. The location couldn’t have been better. We visited Big Sky, Livingston, Yellowstone, and spent a couple of nights in downtown Bozeman. Even with all our exploring, we always looked forward to coming back to the cabin—it truly felt like a private retreat in the heart of Montana. We’re already looking forward to booking this place again. Montana is an incredible place to visit, and this cabin made the experience even more special.Highly recommend—photos don’t come close to capturing how beautiful it is!
This was our first time to visit Bozeman, Montana and stay at this amazing, newly renovated Cottonwood Cabin.
Arrival into Bozeman International Airport was a breeze as was car pick up and the easy 30 min drive to our idilic cabin in the woods.
The excitement of the last two miles drive through the picturesque scenery was only surpassed as we entered through the property gate and viewed our cabin for the first time.
Pretty as a picture, with porches, meadows beyond and the bridge over the babbling stream as we approached, all added to the experience and excitement.
The insides of the cabin did not disappoint. Every detail had been executed with taste, quality and functionality. Everywhere we turned and looked and explored in the cabin we small treasures and objects of interest and fun.
The master bedroom was roomy and comfortable and with beautiful rustic touches in the bathroom to the modern shower area. Opening the windows at night allowed nature to fill the room, with fresh cool air and an amazing bird song chorus in the morning.
The cooks kitchen is without doubt the focus of the cabin. Fully equipped for almost every potential meal occasion. Ample seating at the rustic kitchen table, cozy warm flames from the log/gas burner in the mornings to the wine and cheese conversations on the surroundIng front patio just outside, while reclining lazily on the porch swing watching the sunset over the meadow.
We spent many days on the rear patio having breakfast and lunch, used the Webber gas grill for some fresh fish suppers and then relaxed around the fire pit for some nights to enjoy the tranquility and silence while making S’mores and watching for the odd dear roaming through the meadow.
A secret find was the comfortable wooden swing chair and picnic table just a short walk from the cabin. Situated on the edge off the never ending rambling stream you could enjoy a glass of wine as you relax in this isolated spot in nature.
Our other activities including fly fishing, for the time, I caught several trout and was coached by some excellent local guides. Amazing trail walks, a day visit to the magnificent YellowStone National park and just enjoying the local fair in the quaint down town of Bozeman.
Ann and I will be back soonest and will extend our stay longer than 5 days we just experienced There is so much to see and do and unwind in to this perfect escape from reality.
we had a wonderful full week at this charming cabin. we had our 3 kiddos ages 11,9, 4. the cabin was cozy and perfect to cook breakfast or grill at night then sit by the outdoor fire or cuddle up inside watching a movie after a long day of exploring. We went fishing at Bodhi farms. visited Yellowstone, hiked and ate and shopped in downtown Bozeman. it was a perfect week both relaxing and adventure filled.
