We are so sorry you experienced this, and we really appreciate you letting us know! This is not something we have had mentioned before, but we take all feedback seriously! Since your stay, we’ve already had the carpet professionally cleaned after receiving your comments, and we truly apologize for any inconvenience this caused during your visit. The owner is also planning to upgrade to LVP flooring in the future when there is a break between guests, as part of ongoing improvements to the home! We are really glad to hear you otherwise had a good stay and found the property clean. We’re just very sorry it wasn’t a completely perfect experience, as that is always what we aim for. We did check our communication log and didn’t see any concerns mentioned during your stay, but we’re truly sorry to hear that the location wasn’t quite what you were hoping for. We’ve addressed your feedback about the pool area with the HOA—thank you for pointing that out. And just as a reminder, if you ever experience anything during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to help in real time so we can make things more convenient while you’re still here! Many of our guests love the quiet, family-friendly atmosphere of the Plantation area—it's peaceful and perfect for walking, biking, and relaxing. That said, we totally understand that those looking for more walkable dining and nightlife might prefer something closer to downtown, which is about a 20-minute drive. The Omni Plantation does offer a few activities like mini golf, ping pong, corn hole, life-size checkers, and a few casual dining spots (like the ice cream and pizza place), as well as the popular "Little Sandy" golf course, but we understand that activity preferences can vary. We appreciate your feedback and hope we can help you find a spot that better matches your ideal vacation next time! :)
