The TV was broken on the wall mount before we arrived, should host. He said "itd be fixed by morning" it never got fixed so we just did without. Also the shower door was about to fall off the track and wouldn't close all the way, so it would soak the whole bathroom floor during a shower. And I must stay after 1 week staying. I Dublin, Ballyvadden, Doolin, then Bray. This was nearly twice as expensive as all other houses/cabins/condos! And this was by far in the roughest shape. Would not stay here again. On top of that, they charge you 20 a day to park your park at the hotel your staying at...and their restaurant was nearly twice as expensive as any meal we got in ireland! Stay clear of strand hotel, just stay somewhere else.
Raj was an amazing host and the room was exceptionally clean and they couldn’t have been nicer. I strongly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Bray.
First stop on a driving holiday out of Dublin airport. Gave us time to acclimate to right hand drive using left side of the road on nice wide thoroughfares. Great food and scenary
The room was tired & small difficult to find enough space for two suitcases, the ensuite had nowhere to hang a towel, no where in the shower to place toiletries, the floor was v old. The roller blinds didn't work & the walls were v thin so you could hear the next door neighbour's tv . All the doors slammed shut, the bedside table was also the kettle stand due to size of room. The bed was uncomfortable. the food was v average & the woodfired pizza van parked to the side at the front of the hotel blew smoke directly into the bedroom
