If you want to drive insanely dangerous roads by all means rent this cabin. The map provided zero direction. It was amazing we found it since GPS doesn’t work that high up. The roads were awful and treacherous. The cabin is not private with neighbors staring straight into the hot tub. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere different. The cabin itself was nice and clean but everything else was a disaster. They make you sign a waiver for the roads. Just don’t do it!
Absolutely beautiful cabin, felt warm, cozy, perfect for a get away with a spouse, and beautiful view. Would highly recommend for a get away with spouse/ girlfriend.
we had a wonderful week. The home was very nice, but could use a little extra cleaning. There was toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom and lots of dust on the lamps over the bar, spill marks on the walls that could easily been wiped off, there were hairs on the sheets when we went to go to bed. we slept on top of the covers with another blanket. I just think if you spend this kind of money it should be cleaner. The view was nice.
After the storm and finding a hotel on the first night adding another unexpected $200 to our tab, things got better. VRBO was great during the chaos but the property managers weren’t as great.
We stayed here for our elopement and it was the perfect get-a-away. A place we will remember for a lifetime. Beautiful views, loved the hot tub. Very clean.
The cabin was very clean and accommodating. The views on the drive alone were breathtaking. We loved the area. You have all of the privacy and seclusion you need, a short drive away - all of the Hotspots Gatlinburg and Piegon Forge have to offer. The days on the strip and the nights in your quiet mountain top hot tub.
We stay in the area 2-3 times a year and these accommodations shine above the rest
Great place! Especially for the price. Pay attention to map when driving to chalet. It was difficult for us to find. It took us several tries of going back to security gate and starting over. Would have been impossible in the dark. Also ran into a lot of construction vehicles blocking the road. Once we were there... It was great!
Spent four nights in this cabin in a gated community and it is all they advertise. Enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi, as well as the fireplace on the cold, rainy nights we had. We cooked for two nights and found everything we needed (except a liquid measuring cup). We loved playing pool and had an ongoing match. Direct tv worked well for us. Highly recommend this cabin for your visit to the Smoky Mountains.
The availability of the property was misrepresented. Upon booking the property stated available after 4pm. We had a seven hour drive to the property. Received an email property would be ready between 4-6pm. Was called enroute around 11am property was ready, we were hours and miles away. Upon arrival at 9pm (due to unforseen occurrences). Property was not as pictured outside. It's and abandoned looking house. It was pitch dark, no welcoming greeting as far as lightening or yard maintenance. There was old leaves surrounding the door in each side as well a no yard maintenance. Entry into the property was fine with the help of car lights. The property had spider webs inside, the shower was unclean. However it was late, we were tired so we did enjoy a bath. The next day we noticed the bugs inside the property. There were spider webs covering the entrance to the jacuzzi area. Dust covered the mantels and pool table. We left and spent the day enjoying the attractions in thr area. Upon return we were able to cover the chairs with blankets brought from home for travel and enjoy the game. Sunday we repeated the same schedule waking up leaving and enjoying the attractions outside the property. Around 3am Monday morning we awoke to total darkness inside and around the property. I was able to contact the property and was told there was a property outage. However I did notice the owners of the properties behind us did care enough to provide outside lightening for their guests in case of those happenings. It was 4am we packed our things (using lights from our vehicle) and drove the seven miles home. Never again will I book this property. I stay often in Tennessee (mostly for family trips in bigger cabins) however being our seven year anniversary I opted for something cozier and more secluded. BIG mistake choosing this property!
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for and had all the amenities that we needed. Loved the gated community and the location to everything We wanted to do. Thanks and we will definitely be back!!
Easy check in, clean, comfortable bed, no bugs, good pool table and nice deck with great view.
The road going up to the house is steep and windy, be careful on wet and/or wintery roads. The house directly behind you has a dog that likes to hear himself bark ... starting about 8am (yelling at him to shut up worked a couple times lol).
Overall it's a nice house and you'll enjoy your stay!
The property was easy to find and a great location. Once in the inside of property we were like WOOOOOW. Everything was clean and in place. The jacuzzi was a huge ➕️!!! We'll most definitely be back.
Loved the place was in a great location will stay at that location again in the future.
It was an awesome stay. Thought check it out time should of been at least 12pm. It would of took no more than two hours to get the place ready for someone else and that is just to wash the linens. Otherwise I enjoyed the amities that the place had to offer.
