This beautiful chalet sits nestled in the mountains of Shagbark, a private gated community that offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts for its guests to enjoy. “Sunset View Chalet” is a one-story property with plenty of ease of access having only 1 step, and some of the best views that the Smoky Mountains have to offer. When walking in you are greeted with all the comforts of home, and just enough extra to make the memories last forever. There is a fully furnished kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, and the living room offers a stone encased gas log fireplace, and 42-inch flat screen television with surround sound to sit back and relax while you watch your favorite shows. The master bedroom features a king size bed, 40-inch flat screen TV, in-room whirlpool tub, stone encased gas log fireplace, and a master bath equipped with a dual head spa shower. Spend your evenings having fun with a quick game of pool or soak your worries away in the hot tub while you bask in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Sunset View Chalet has access to the Shagbark Community’s seasonal outdoor pool and tennis courts. Sunset View Chalet is the perfect escape and is waiting for you to visit. No Pets. Don’t do it

If you want to drive insanely dangerous roads by all means rent this cabin. The map provided zero direction. It was amazing we found it since GPS doesn’t work that high up. The roads were awful and treacherous. The cabin is not private with neighbors staring straight into the hot tub. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere different. The cabin itself was nice and clean but everything else was a disaster. They make you sign a waiver for the roads. Just don’t do it!

Absolutely beautiful cabin, felt warm, cozy, perfect for a get away with a spouse, and beautiful view. Would highly recommend for a get away with spouse/ girlfriend.

nice relaxing getaway

we had a wonderful week. The home was very nice, but could use a little extra cleaning. There was toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom and lots of dust on the lamps over the bar, spill marks on the walls that could easily been wiped off, there were hairs on the sheets when we went to go to bed. we slept on top of the covers with another blanket. I just think if you spend this kind of money it should be cleaner. The view was nice.

Rocky start

After the storm and finding a hotel on the first night adding another unexpected $200 to our tab, things got better. VRBO was great during the chaos but the property managers weren’t as great.
