The Lighthouse Resort enjoys an incredibly central location in Gulf Shores, as it sits just over half a mile east of Highway 59 (home to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and much more). You can take morning walks along the nature trails of Gulf State Park (half a mile east), and afternoon strolls to Sea-N-Suds, Picnic Beach, or The Hangout Gulf Shores to sit down for an excellent meal and a cold drink. Tee off at either the Craft Farms Golf Club (five miles north) or the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club (seven miles west), or take a short drive to the legendary Flora-Bama (10 miles east).

Perfect getaway

We give the condo itself 5 stars.. The condo was completely equipped for all our needs. We liked that the balcony was set back a little so you didn’t have intense heat in the mornings. The condo was clean, but I noticed black splotches on the ceiling in master bath. (Concerned about mold). The Lighthouse area with vending machines and ice needs a lot of attention. Could be unsafe at night. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

Great location

My husband and I stayed at the condo for a week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is a roomy condo in a great location right on the beach. The property has 2 large pools on the beach side. Overall the condo was clean; however, there was a leak coming from the ceiling in the master bathroom which had to be repaired twice during our stay. My only other complaint was that the bedding and towels were “cheap hotel” quality.
