About this property

Bed and breakfast of the mill of the distillery of Saint Felix

It is with a real pleasure that we will welcome you in our Villa of full foot with its mill located on the site of a former distillery of rum. Plot of 2500 m2 with swimming pool, private parking 500m from the fishing port and the beach of St. Felix. Ideally located between Saint Anne and the gullet and close to shops (1mn walk) grocery stores, bakery, pizzeria, laundry, restaurants, bars ...
We offer 3 rooms with double bed (Iguana, Calabash, Mill) very comfortable equipped with quality bedding and private bathrooms. The Iguana room has a private toilet and direct access to the garden and pool.
We also offer plane rides and boat trips. We can arrange the rental of a vehicle and your transfer to the airport.
On Wednesday and Thursday evening we offer an optional dinner for 15 € per person with an aperitif offered by the pool (wine not included).
Upon arrival at the villa a welcome drink will be offered as well as a small snack.
Rooms and public areas are non-smoking.
The very hearty American breakfasts are included.
We also make copious picnic baskets to take away for lunch from 1 to 6 people.

We had the most wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast, and our hosts were absolutely lovely! I The rooms and property were very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and waking up to a beautiful breakfast each morning was the best part of our day. We can’t wait to come back again!

Excellent Location and Fantastic Hosts

This is a clean and comfortable place. The private pool and patio is especially enjoyable. Phillipe and Cathy were very hospitable and also provided us with helpful tips on how to enjoy our time in Guadeloupe. The continental breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious! Was quite surprised, would recommend andreturn!

When I first was looking for a place to stay for before our cruise. Before booking I was able to confirm that they would be able to pick us up at the airport and take us to the home. Philippe and his lovely wife greeted us like one of their family! They had a small appetizers waiting as well as homemade rum. They made us drinks while talking to us and getting to know each other. Philippe for dinner even said he would drive us to the restaurant and pick us up after. Great, great time! It was too bad that we had to leave. In the morning his wife made a fantastic breakfast, so filling! Philippe drove us to the cruise port and said if we couldnt find anyone for after to give him a call and he would pick us up. Both of them went upon our expectations and we just hope this review helps them recieve more reservations. Thank you!

A little piece of paradise

My husband and I spent 5 wonderful days with Cathy and Philippe at the old distillery mill in Saint Felix, next to Le Gosier. Our hosts were ready with a very warm welcome, a rum punch and the first of many great conversations. They helped us settle in and offered helpful information on the surrounding area. They are the perfect hosts; friendly and open yet not intrusive. The location is perfect for exploring the whole of Grande-Terre. As others have mentioned there is a fantastic bakery and a small grocery store within walking distance. Cathy and Philippe offer homecooked dinners as an option, which we took advantage of three times. Not only were the meals sumptuous and delicious, but the care taken in their presentation showed how their hearts are in everything they offer their guests. Breakfast was also a French Caribbean feast with fresh fruit salad, croissants, bread, cheese, jam and more! Their house is lovely and comfortable, our bedroom provided us plenty of room to spread out and of course everything was spotless. We were even able to wash our rental car on site. We would give a 10 star rating if we could. We will be talking about our wonderful stay for a long time. Thank you, Cathy and Philippe, for opening your home and hearts!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das tägliche Frühstück war sehr lecker. Phillipe und Cathy waren bezüglich unserer Fragen zu Unternehmungen oder Restaurants immer sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Es gibt allerdings nur eine Gemeinschaftstoilette, was aber unproblematisch war.Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Je recommande ce lieu à tous mes amis. Philippe et Cathie étaient très gentils. Ils nous ont accueillis chaleureusement avec un apéro qui nous a servi de dîner. Cathie nous a fait faire le tour du terrain et expliquer toutes les plantes et arbres qu'ils font pousser. Ils nous ont partagé plusieurs histoires concernant la Guadeloupe qui nous a permis de mieux comprendre la culture. L'emplacement était central à plusieurs activités que nous avons fait sur Grande-Terre. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.
