My husband and I absolutely LOVE TN and the mountains. We have been married for 30 years. Our honeymoon was spent in Tennessee and almost all of our anniversary’s. We have 3 boys all grown and 3 gorgeous granddaughters. We always took our boys on a family vacation every year. 90% of the time we chose Tennessee. We love the people and we love the mountains. 6 years ago we were up on our anniversary and decided we wanted to just look at cabins. Yea right! We saw this cabin and fell in love. Now we get to share our love of Tennessee with our family and you anytime we want. We chose our cabin because it is extremely cozy; yet open. Private enough; yet close enough. We are centrally located between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain National Park, and Sevierville. All are about 30-45min from our cabin. Cosby, White Water Rafting, Zip Lining, serene streams and creeks, picnic areas, and the Entrance to the Smokey Mountain Foothills are all only 10min away! Our cabin sleeps 4 people, has a fireplace, Handcrafted log master bed w/spacious bedroom, whirlpool tub, cozy kitchen, washer and dryer, smart t.v. (No cable, but you can log into your own Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc... account), internet/wifi, semi wrap around porch w/swing, hot tub, gas fire pit, and 2 grills (park style charcoal and gas). We do not supply propane nor charcoal for the grills or fire pit. We have an OUTSIDE bedroom NOT attached to the house. The outside bedroom does NOT have a bathroom. You would need to go inside the cabin to use the restroom. The outside bedroom has a queen size bed, t.v., heat/air. The outdoor bedroom is an addition to the shed the previous owner added. We replaced the floor, fresh paint, and furnished. There are pictures of the outdoor bedroom in the photos. We have plans to add a bathroom to the outdoor bedroom, as my husband is a General Contractor, but we live 9hrs away and also need help to be able to do that. When you live so far away, it is hard to do some of the things we’d like to do in such a short amount of time, but we are getting there. Our cabin is on a half acre and is 1000 square feet living not counting the outdoor bedroom. We have a neighbor in front of us. He is older, lives alone, quiet, and keeps to himself. It is quiet and peaceful at our cabin, but if you are looking for a cabin that is completely private with no one around, then our cabin isn’t for you. Kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot (Hamilton Beach pod/grounds), toaster, dishwasher, oven/stove, crockpot, dishes, glasses, silverware, and everything you need to cook or BBQ. We do not have garbage service as we do not live there. Our cleaning service only takes 1 bag. In our information book at the cabin we give you the address to the drive through dump station which is 5min away and free of charge. We ask if you have more than 1 bag to please bring to the drive through dump station before you check out. We have updated quite a few things in the cabin since we purchased it. We are still in the process of updating. Just taking some time and some TLC. If you decide to stay at our cabin we hope you love it as much as we do. We have worked very hard to make it cozy and homey 💗
Thank you for your interest in our cabin!
