On four acres has massive views -- Huachuca, Dragoon, Mule Mountains, all the way to the San Jose's in Naco, Sonora, Mexico! The Bunkhouse provides one bedroom, separate bath, kitchen/living area combo. You have a full size refrigerator, electric stove and oven, galvanized tub styled into a kitchen sink, and use of an outdoor washer/dryer. Enjoy our Cowboy Ramada with fire ring for those outdoor nights of stargazing. No street lights out here! Then there is sightseeing/birding/hiking/exploring galore -- we are in the realm of Tombstone (The Town Too Tough To Die), Bisbee (arts), Ft. Huachuca (the home of the Buffalo Soldier), Ramsey Canyon (welcomes bird watchers from around the globe), San Pedro Riparian Area, and if you want down-home entertainment, we have the Arizona Folklore Preserve, Kartchner Caverns...and the list goes on. Need to stay connected? The Bunkhouse has wi-fi and Firestick TV. Come bunk with us!

Have your own RV? We have one full hook-up spot with 30/50 amp.
Tent camping? We offer a separate bath facility with hot shower and an outdoor laundry room with utility sink for doing your dishes.

Martinson's

This property is underrated on the website. It was way better in person than what it appeared. I told Deb to take new photos because she deserves more bookings! They were incredibly nice and made it easier for us to get through a family death. The property is beautiful and you are safe being in a fenced property so close to the border. We are already planning to go back for a vacation and will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful and Welcoming

Deb and Dave were wonderful hosts and their property is clean, picturesque, and the perfect distance from nearby Sierra Vista. The bunkhouse was the perfect size and well-equipped, my husband loved the outdoor shower, and socializing with Deb, Dave, and their other guests was a highlight of our trip. We stayed three nights and would have stayed much longer if we could. We will definitely visit again!

Dave and I have worked this beautiful, serene, four acres into a comfortable and peaceful place of refuge. We have created a small hobby farm from which we are, to a great extent, self-sustaining. I am an avid gardener/seed saver/food preservationist. Dave is a master mechanic, welder, and fabricator having had his own business for 28 years. With a shop on premises, his creations are always a surprise! Join us to do as much as you like or to simply decompress...the night skies are amazing (no street lights to interfere).

Why they chose this property

We are truly desert rats...after five years in Colorado to finish out my work career, we had to return to the high desert. All the seasons, without shoveling snow!

We offer:
(1) The Bunkhouse with full amenities (living/dining/kitchen area, separate bathroom with shower, separate bedroom with queen bed (memory foam mattress)
(2) One full hook-up RV spot
(3) Tent camping under our single row of enormous pine trees
(4) Full bath facility for tent campers (sink/toilet/shower with hot water)
(5) Laundry Room behind The Bunkhouse (washer/dryer/utility sink and clothesline, too)
