We had a wonderful trip with a wonderful place to stay. The home and property is very unique, inviting, and the host was easy to communicate with. The property was beautiful.
It was what you expected for an old farm house. There’s a family cemetery in the back(creepy) and you cant flush any paper products. My bed was covered in mouse poop. (Had to completely make a new bed) It’s kinda far out from everything. The view of the backyard was beautiful. It was cool to see how old the house was and where they added onto it. Overall, it was a good experience and plenty of space for all of us.
Great old farm house. Fun to visualize how things were originally. Thankful for some modern updates, but liked some of the older aspects. Would like to visit in a few years to see if there are any additional improvements, like more detail to cleaning and not so cluttered.
We also brought 2 dogs and the farm atmosphere was great! Whole process was great.... we went to Willet distillery. Lincolns Birthplace and Ky train museum not far away!

Middle of nowhere
It’s a huge house. Gave off kinda creamy vibes. We all slept in one room just in case..... some rooms didn’t have curtains, fireplace had signs not to use. Hornets by door were a small challenge. We came to unplug and accomplished tgatz
It was alright, it’s a good getaway place if that’s what you are looking for. However when we arrived there was a pair of underwear hanging in the bathroom, not sure who they belonged to. Along with the downstairs bed and one of the upstairs bed, the “mattress” was just a air mattress, with a thin mattress, and a mattress pad stacked.
Laurel was a great host. It was scortching hot outside during our stay. It is an old home and does not have central air throughout, which made it difficult to have a comfortable temperature in the home. I am sure this is not the norm as it was very hot outside. We had some electrical issues and Laurel responded immediately to our needs. The property is family friendly, has a cool graveyard to explore, and drive to the creek.
