Hello! I’m Darlene Eastridge, your hostess. My husband Ronnie and I have successfully managed our first Campbellsville vacation property since 2008. This new home is our brand new property that we’re opening in 2025. It’s a redesigned home with fine attractive finishes and modern amenities. As we have with Granny’s Country Cottage for the past 17 years (see reviews), we will continue to provide prompt responses, exceptional cleanliness, quality bedding and sleeping arrangements, and an honest representation of what you will find when you arrive at our homes.
Why they chose this property
This country setting is exactly 1 mile from the Green River Lake State Park entrance. After purchasing this property we realized the need and opportunity to offer large, premium storage rentals for the 35’ to 45’ boat and RV market…there are few in this niche. The home that existed on the land was in desperate need of repair. After completing the construction of 10 storage units at the back of this property we decided to address the house. We considered our options and stripped the house down to the solid foundation, reconfiguring the floor plan, reframing, spraying in foam insulation (including the crawl space) and building back a brand new, beautiful, and energy efficient mid-century modern home in this traditionally rural farming community. The nearest neighbor has lived local for a lifetime and farmland is your view from the front and back porch of this beautiful home. Guests will enjoy a stone fire pit with rustic outdoor seating. The back deck provides a gas grill and outdoor seating on the semi-covered wooden deck.
Our goal is to provide a home where both families and fishermen want to return to every time they visit Campbellsville or Green River Lake. We hope we achieve that goal and we look forward to hearing that you enjoyed your time at this home.

Your hosts were the first in Campbellsville to offer a full home vacation rental over 17 years ago. They still own that vacation home. They have excellent reviews and promise to provide the same excellence in cleanliness and comfort that they’ve provided for a generation. Their experience guided the location, design, decor, and furnishings to meet the suggested occupancy of six guests.
