Newly Constructed Luxury Home On 150' Natural Beach With Dock And Hot Tub!

Welcome to Shale Beach, a brand new home (2020) that has all the features you want. One step from the large parking area to the home and only a few steps from the large front porch to a wide flat natural shale beach.

The home features 9' ceilings, cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace, and a Weber outdoor gas grill on a spacious covered front porch. At night, warm up on your private beach with a blazing fire in the fire pit or simply relax on the porch in front of the outdoor wall heaters!

Oversize windows provide plenty of natural light and amazing lake views. The gourmet kitchen is well stocked and features oven, range with hood, dishwasher, microwave, coffee makers, two full size refrigerator/freezers plus a wine refrigerator. High-speed internet with a mesh extender system.

Four large bedrooms, including two master suites, plus a second-floor rec room with additional beds, provides plenty of elbow space for everyone to enjoy. Sleeps up to 20 guests, including three king beds and one queen bed, each with a high quality mattress.

A dock is provided during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) for guests to use for fishing, boating or lounging. We currently have two kids kayaks, an adult tandem kayak, an adult stand-up paddle board, a canoe and a pedal boat. (Dock and boats may not be available during off-peak months.)

New for 2022: New hot tub! New full bathroom for a total of 6 bathrooms. New patio and fire pit. And new 50 amp outlet next to the driveway in case you have an EV car.

Everyone in my party was extremely impressed by this house. Beautiful inside and out with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Bedrooms were all big with bathrooms for each. The views of the lake from the spacious deck were amazing. Really enjoyed the fire pit as well. We could not have picked a better house. Can’t recommend it enough.

This lake house had everything we needed and more! So much space, 2 laundry machines, a full kitchen, it was great! It did get a bit buggy outside and inside the house at night time but that’s to be expected. I would say to remember to bring shampoo and soaps as those were not provided. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Family vacation

We take a family vacation every other year. This was the only vacation home that we would spend another week at in the future. Watching the sunrise from the incredible porch was like a post card. The location is great. A few minutes from town. A few minutes from the wineries. The supplied lake toys were a big hit . Hours of enjoyment on the lake.

We planned a family trip to Finger Lakes and this was such an amazing spot!! So serene and relaxing, the house itself is new and very clean! We loved the fire pit outside and the front deck even has heaters! We loved our stay, don’t hesitate in booking, you’ll thoroughly enjoy the area!

This is a wonderful house. The kitchen is well stocked. Two refrigerators were a bonus! Lots of water toys were enjoyed the entire week. I would have given this house 5 stars but there was an issue with the smoke detectors. The issue was resolved but we had 3 nights of interrupted sleep.

Beautiful house situated right on the water. There were a lot of water toys available so we didn't have to deal with any side rentals of equipment. And the AC worked well during the fluke heat wave!

Hi. I grew up in Rochester and visited Keuka lake as a kid every summer for many years. For 10 years, I had been re-experiencing my love of the lake from the perspective of a father of three kids by renting various homes around Keuka lake. For those 10 years we looked for a home to buy but could never find what we were looking for: flat lot without steps, natural shale beach where you can walk right into the water (no sea wall), huge waterfront with privacy from neighbors, and large comfortable home with plenty of bathrooms and modern conveniences (such as dishwashers and air conditioning). So when an undeveloped lot became available, we decided to use our experience building high-end homes in Maryland to build the perfect lake house. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

It is an amazing lot for all of the reasons I stated above. Our goal was to build a home that is open, comfortable, elegant and full of modern conveniences. Details include 9 foot ceilings, 7 foot doorways, huge picture windows, huge front porch, solid cherry kitchen, high quality tile and countertops, lots of bathrooms, two refrigerators, dishwasher, wi-fi, large outdoor grill, two sets of washer/dryers, air conditioning, etc.

What makes this property unique

The home is a short drive to Hammondsport, a great little town with great shopping and restaurants. It is also a short drive to some great wineries, such as Heron Hill, Bully Hill, Dr. Frank and many others.
