Following a last minute withdrawal, the cottage is available from 28 to 31 October 2016 (3 nights). Do not hesitate to contact us to know the conditions.

Located in the heart of the Ardennes, in the territory of the beautiful town of Sainte-Ode, this cottage tastefully decorated and equipped with ultra sleeps up to 8 people. This character house built there nearly 300 years has been renovated in 2015! In a green environment, surrounded by nature and magnificent views of the Ardennes companion, the cottage "Ode To The House" is ideally situated to combine a quiet holiday and explore the local sights. Tourist poles of Bastogne and Saint-Hubert are just 10 short minutes from the holiday home. The cottage is located at the foot of one of the many signposted footpaths of the town of Sainte-Ode. The owner, heavily involved in local associations and responsible for many events in the area can provide information on events, numerous activities to discover, restaurants, etc.

- Fully equipped kitchen (see details in the "Equipment")
- 1 bedroom with double bed
- 1 bedroom with double bed and cot
- 1 bedroom with 1 double and 2 single beds + lounge and game (ideal room for children and adolescents)
- 2 bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet, exterior window
- Large garden with wooden play structure for children (hut, swing, slide, knotted rope, etc.)
- Orchard with animals and access to a brook.
- Pleasant terrace and equipped with garden furniture for 8 people
- Parking 3 cars

Equipment:
- Kitchen: fridge freezer, oven, microwave oven, 4 ceramic hotplates, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, raclette / stone grill, electric kettle, crockery and cooking utensils.
- Living / Dining room: Pellet stove, flat screen TV (over 100 channels) DVD player and K7 video, radio with CD player, mood lighting, windows opening onto the terrace, garden view and the Ardennes countryside.
- Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms (1st floor) with window. Each bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, cupboard, hair dryer, towels holder. The towels are provided.
- Bedroom 1: 1st floor bedroom with 1 double and 1 baby bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps
- Bedroom 2: 1st floor bedroom with 1 double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and bedside lamp
- Bedroom 3: room on 2nd floor with 1 double and 2 single beds, sitting area, TV, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps + games

Wi-Fi with high speed connection throughout the house!

In addition to the pellet stove located in the great room on the ground floor, each room is equipped with a heater powered by a central oil heat.

We had a lovely stay here as an extended family. It was clean when we arrived and had everything you need. It made a great base for exploring the local area, including easy drives to Luxembourg. The climbing frame was a hit, as were the chickens! Everything is finished to a high standard and it was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful family getaway!

My family and I had a short weekend stay at this fabulous property and would love to come back. The house is situated in a very scenic, peaceful area that is perfect for exploring nature and having true relaxation. It is also very convenient for exploring Bastogne and the surrounding WWII sights. The interior of the house is very cozy and laid out perfectly for a large family. We especially loved the pellet burning stove, two large bathrooms, and very nicely equipped kitchen. Finally, I cannot say enough good things about the host, who runs this vacation home very professionally. He was extremely thoughtful and accomodating to our travel situation and did everything he could to make sure we had a great stay!

Exceptional, stylish and comfortable ....

Wonderful property and equally wonderful host Pierre. This is a real gem. I've stayed in many vacation rental properties in Europe and found this to be one of the best I've seen. Built 2016, it is fresh, modern and stylish. Larger than most properties it can comfortably house 6-8 people...2 families ideally or adults. Exceptional consideration of providing for children with a playground, crib, highchair. Be aware there are stairs necessary for every bedroom. Two large modern bathrooms-each with shower, toilet, and sink...included drying racks and lovely towels. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked with more than enough dinnerware, cutlery and food preparation tools. Full fridge, stove, dishwasher,and microwave. Directions: Take the N 826 exit (To St. Ode) off of the N4 . In St. Ode, continue past the church ( which is on the right/ north side of road), shortly after look on left/south for "Rue de Rancourt" . The accommodation is set back on the south side/left of the road. Also a lovely, easy to operate wood pellet burning stove. Thank you Pierre for a terrific stay.

Comfortable house with a view

We spent a wonderful New Year’s Eve weekend. The house is cozy, warm and has all the amenities you need. Garden is slightly smaller than in the pictures but our kids still had a lot of space to play and loved feeding the chickens. Pierre-Yves is a wonderful host, super quick to respond and always available. Thank you!

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst door gastheer (eigenaar woont in aanpalende woning. Toch behoud van privacy, maar hij staat steeds klaar voor hulp of info indien nodig). Ideale ligging: niet ver van goede verbindingswegen, rustig op platteland, vlak aan startpunt mooie wandelroutes, centraal tussen Bastogne en St-Hubert. Woning heel gezellig ingericht, alles nieuw en proper. Een aanrader !

Een gezellig, compleet huisje met prachtig uitzicht.

De kerstboom is verlicht en er speelt muziek bij het binnenkomen. De pelletkachel verspreidt een gezellige warmte. We komen tuis in een compleet ingericht huisje. De huisbaas komt even langs met de nodige uitleg. We hebben er met 6 volwassenen en een peuter een hartverwarmend kerstweekend doorgebracht. Bedankt aan Pierre-Yves!

Topverblijf

Dit super uitgerust verblijf is een echte aanrader om te genieten van de rustige omgeving. Werkelijk alles is aanwezig (zelfs kruiden, koffie, tandenstokers, servietten, wandelkaarten, toeristische info van de regio,...). Bij aankomst viel ook de netheid op: alles was uiterst proper ; zelfs de bbq rooster was proper! De eigenaar is ook zeer vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam en dit op een zeer discrete wijze. Ook de communicatie met hem verloopt zeer vlot. Op 5min met de auto is er een supermarktje en een bakker (dorpje Lavacherie). Verschillende uitgestippelde wandelingen kunnen vanaf het verblijf gestart worden. Ook in de nabije omgeving kunnen prachtige wandelingen gemaakt worden. Kortom: een topverblijf voor wie van rust houdt.

Mooie vakantiewoning

Wat een mooi huis. Superschoon, compleet en lekker ruim. De bedden waren al opgemaakt en er lagen theedoeken, handdoeken en washandjes klaar. Na een week kregen we schoon beddengoed om weer lekker fris te kunnen slapen in de prima bedden. Er zit een grote achtertuin bij het huis, die in tweeën is verdeeld. Een gedeelte is om te kunnen voetballen en in het andere deel staat een speelhuis/schommels. Van allebei de delen mag gebruik gemaakt worden. De beheerder was zeer vriendelijk en spreekt naast frans ook redelijk engels.

Gute Lage, schönes und helles Haus, schön eingerichtet mit volstandiges Geschirr und sehr sauber. Außerdem eine Ausnahme im Vergleich zu den anderen Häuser: alles inklusieve und keine 'verborgen Bußgelder' für Strom, Wasser, Spühlmachine nicht ausgeräumt, Müll, Handtücher oder Bettbezüge!!! super Ferienhaus mit einem sehr gastfreundlichen Vermieter

Unser Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus war super - ohne Einschränkungen. Das Haus ist komplett saniert wurden und mit sehr viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Es ist alles da was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt, auch für die ganz Kleinen. Der Vermieter war sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Great location, fantastic house, well presented. Lots to do in the area.

We have just had a very relaxing couple of days in 'a la maison d'Ode'. The renovation of this accommodation had been completed recently and has been done really well to a great standard. The wood pellet burner was lovely, both in terms of the heat and creating a cosy living space. The surrounding countryside is fabulous, easily explorable by foot with many circular walks going through Amberloup. Bastogne is only a short drive away and there's lots of other things to do on a rainy day (war museum, etc). We would highly recommend this accommodation.
