The cabin is fantastic. We loved sitting out on the porch during the thunderstorms that rolled in. Super clean and well kept up. I was surprised to learn the cabin is 25 years old as it's immaculate in condition. Host was great to talk to and we picked up some beef to take home before heading out. We are talking about coming back in fall and will for sure be checking to see if this place is available first.
This property was clean, quiet and just lovely! The owner was helpful and kind, the steer, donkeys and other livestock were so much fun to feed and very friendly!
The cabin was perfect for my husband and myself! It was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub felt nice with the freezing temps outside! We also enjoyed the games that were provided. Three time Skip-Bo champ right here!
We had a wonderful time! The Loft was located so close to all the trails we came to hike and all the sights we wanted to see. The beauty of the surrounding property was an added bonus, and the owner was kind and very helpful. Would 100% return!
The property is beautiful. We loved the longhorn cattle as you drove in. The cabin was secluded in the woods. It was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed to cook. It was awesome they had a propane and charcoal grills.
A weekend away to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoors on a roomy porch overlooking some longhorn cattle and a couple donkeys. You can walk down and see them close up. There is a fire pit nearby, but we didn’t use it. We did use the grill and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cozy electric fireplace in the living room was enjoyable since it was still a bit cold out!
The cabin was perfect for a much-needed solo retreat! Close to Hocking Hills, but not too close. So quiet at night and everything was cozy and clean. Just what I needed!
It was absolutely gorgeous! The hot tub, the woods, the grill, and the cleanliness were my favorite part! It was a short getaway for my partner's birthday and she was definitely impressed. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a great time and we would definitely return! 😃
The cabin is on farmland up on a hill. It is suitable for two people and young children although there is nothing there for kids to do other than play games. The bedroom is up and the bathroom is down. Kids would sleep on futon up also. We went to Hocking Hills State park to hike. It is about 25 minutes away. There is another small state park 4 miles up the road . Owner very helpful when we had TV problems.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities and more. The owner Tony came to check on us to make sure we were able to get in ok. We then chatted about the area, and he suggested places to go and the best way to get there. Very helpful. We ate lunch at their restaurant they own, the hamburgers were amazing! While at the cabin we enjoyed visiting the longhorn cattle that Tony raises on his property. All the different areas in the Hocking Hills State park were unique and beautiful. Took only 20 to 30 minutes to get to all the areas we had on our list to visit. Would stay at the cabin again on a return trip.
This cabin and host are terrific! Will definitely all this to our favorites list. Everything was clean! The hot tub was the best we have experienced. About 20-30 minutes to all major activities. The animals are so fun to see!
Everything was great and clean only thing we weren’t prepared for was the bed a bit hard and the roof was right above us a picture of the bed setup in the listing would of helped everything else was amazing! Beautiful property
Amazing. If you will be in the area, STAY HERE! The cabin is clean, cozy, beautiful surroundings, great host. The host raises long horns on the property, just walk down the driveway and they are right there! It was such a cool experience to sit and watch them. Cabin is in the woods, very quiet and secluded. Love the porch with the rockers and gliders.
Property was spotless and included everything we needed. Fire pit and hot tub were great additions, and the location was peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.
Celebrated my bf birthday at the loft. We enjoyed the hot tub very much. Very nice cabin.

I was born and raised in this area, my family has been in the area for several generations, I guess I would be considered a local. I built and maintain these cabins, I also raise registered Texas Longhorn cattle. If any time is left I spend it building and restoring old trucks or taking them to shows and cruise ins.
Why they chose this property
I guess I didn't choose this area I was born in the area and my family has been in this area for several generations
What makes this property unique
Brimstone ridge cabins is locally owned, managed and maintained by the owner which makes any issues quick to be handled. The cabins offer a great place to relax after enjoying the many local attractions or you have all you need to just stay at the cabin. cabins are secluded and private with thick private woods to hike, a stocked pond is also on the property for catch and release fishing or take a short hike to visit the longhorn cattle that you pass by on your drive into the cabin ( the pond and cattle can also be accessed by car if you are not the hiking type) .
.The cattle are very tame and like visits from guests and enjoy treats .
