Built in the 18th century with views over the charming Provencal village of La Tour D Aigues and it's Chateau. Surrounded by 6 acres of private land and vineyards this charming property is the perfect holiday home for big families or groups of friends. The delicious pool 15 x 7.5m is fabulous in the summer for chilling off and the huge outdoor terraces are perfect for bbq's and dining outside, the tennis court awaits the livelier ones. The Billiard room on the first floor is fun for those who love games.
This amazing property is gated and entirely private, with no direct neighbors. Majestic trees proved plenty of shade over the stone terraces and lush lawns circled by lavander and laurier lay beyond the pool area.
The location could not be more convenient for guests who desire to explore every corner of Provence. There are endless opportunities for day trips to different medieval villages in the morning, an outdoor lunch at a Provencal village restaurant, and perhaps a restful afternoon by the pool. The busy little town of La Tour d; Aigues is just a ten-minute walk, you will find plenty of local shops for fresh bread, croissants, patisseries and restaurants with the traditonnel weekly market and In less than 20 minutes, you can tour the lively City of Aix en Provence. Visit some of The Most Beautiful Villages in France: Menerbes, Bonneux, Lacoste, Gordes, Roussillon, Saint Remy, Les Baux, Lourmarin and Lauris. The French Riviera; s busy Saint Tropez is an easy two-hour drive on the autoroute and Marseilles airport is a 30-minute drive from the house and the high-speed TGV train station in Avignon is just 60 minutes away.
On the ground floor adjacent to the bbq terrace is a spacious open plan kitchen, fully equipped. A pretty dining room with antique table and study lead through to a comfortable sitting room with log fire place. There is also a wash room on the ground floo with WC. Plus a second Storage kitchen. The entire property is furnished with a blend of antiques and more contempory 70's style. An unusual but cheerful mix.
Up the stone staircase to the first floor 6 pretty, sunlit bedrooms. 2 with ensuite bathrooms, the others share a shower room and full bathroom. There is also a special childrens dormitory / bedroom with 4 single beds and its own shower room with WC.
The amazing billiard room welcomes those who wish to play snooker too.
The original entrance staircase can be seen at the main entrance of the house and family paintings adorn the walls.
The beautiful pool has an automatic cover, sunloungers and parasols and the stone terraces near the bbq have plenty of outdoor tables and chairs for relaxing in the sun or shade.
