Wait until you see this beauty! The open floor plan of this townhome in the Canal Place community is great for family gatherings while on your vacation. The gourmet kitchen will be your favorite spot to chat over coffee. The entrance level has two bedrooms and a full bathroom as well as a converted garage that can be use as a hangout spot for movie watching. The third floor has a wonderful master suite with a full bathroom.

Take an afternoon break on one of the many balconies or take a dip in the community pool. This is where the outdoor shower is located.

Canal Place is the perfect location for a stroll to town or a walk to the beach.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Heart of Lewes

Great location with a nice open 2nd floor living area. Not real beachy from a decorative standpoint but ok. Garage bedroom area unusable due to lack of AC so plan accordingly. For a 3 bedroom place in the heart of Lewes a pretty good deal

So so stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This email was sent but no response was ever given. First the place did not seem to be cleaned very well. There is a picture of hair on the inside of the master shower. And what appears to be blood stains on the in side of the shower curtain in the second bathroom. Also in that bathroom the tube for the toilet paper roll was missing. Second the carpet did not look vacuumed at all. And sand was found in one of the beds. Third the refrigerator water filter needs to be changed and we did not find any to change it with. And last there is a nick in the floor near the dining room table. We have stayed at many places over the years but have not had an issue with cleanliness like this. The showers were very disturbing and we cleaned both ourselves to make sure we felt good about being in them. We hope by bringing these issue to your attention they will be improved upon in the future.

July 2020 Stay

The house was very nice, location was close to shops, restaurants and Lewes Beach. We walked a lot. We loved all of the balconies and the furniture on the balconies. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, utensils (loved those) and pots and pans. Decor was very nice and beachy. The master bedroom was not comfortable temperature wise. We were not permitted to adjust the thermostat below 72. The room would get very warm at night and there was no ceiling fan in this room. The floor fan provided was so loud we could not use it. We tried to drawl cooler air from the downstairs by putting the fan at the outside of the bedroom but still too loud. We reported some damages to the house when we arrived (stuff marks on then walls, a broken statue in the landing) and it took two days for the realtor to acknowledge. Also, the pool was opened to apparently just the residents of the community however I found this out from the neighbor as my email to the realtor requesting the code to the pool was left unanswered.
