A luxury 2 bedroom apartment with large balcony and sea view. This fully air conditioned apartment has a large open plan living area with satellite TV and dvd/cd player and a fully equipped modern kitchen. Master bedroom with ensuite with large walk in shower and twin bedroom with separate shower room. A sofa bed in the living room provides a bed for a further two people or an extra bed can be provided in the twin bedroom for an additional £50. A cot can be provided for £35.

The apartment is located on the prestigious 5 star complex of Mar da Luz in Porto Dona Maria. Situated between Luz and Burgau, both are within a few minutes drive or a scenic walk along a costal footpath. The facilities include a communal pool, children's pool, spa with indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, turkish bath and gym. The nearby villages of Burgau and Luz have beautiful sandy beaches and numerous bars and restaurants. Luz also has supermarkets, banks and a chemist. There is a wider choice of everything in the nearby town of Lagos, which also offers historic buildings within the cobbled streets of the old town and a lively marina.

Great apartment in great part of the Algarve

We spent a month at this apartment in November and really recommend it if you want to discover the best parts of the Algarve. Liz was helpful before and during our stay and answered all our questions instantly. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and is located on a quiet condominium with wonderful facilities including indoor pool and gymnasium. We especially loved the location in the quieter part of the Algarve from where we could visit lots of beautiful beaches and villages. We really enjoyed the walk along the cliffs to Praia da luz and Burgau. We will hopefully be returning this fall.

Sehr modernes gepflegtes appartement. Voll ausgestattet. Alles was in der beschreibung angegeben war, traf auch zu und funktionierte. Wir haben unseren aufenthalt sehr genossen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die rezeptionistin sprach gut englisch und hat sich um fragen/anliegen sofort gekümmert.

Needs a little TLC

An issue with the beds which was quickly rectified. Kitchen utensils could be of a better quality. Some of the furnishings need replacing or cleaned properly.

Ein wunderbarer Familienurlaub

Wir hatten Ende Oktober eine Superzeit in Praia da Luz. 11 Tage Sonnenschein bei fast 30 Grad, 10 Tage davon ohne eine einzige Wolke. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der große überdachte Balkon, auf dem wir jeden Abend mit 5 Personen zu Abend gegessen haben und von dem aus wir direkten Blick auf den herrlichen Außenpool hatten. Die Wohnung entspricht in jeder Hinsicht der Beschreibung. Was für eine Familie , die sich selbst versorgt, sehr wichtig ist: Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen großen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierbereich. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch der SPA-Bereich. Wir haben täglich die Sauna , den Whirlpool und das Indoor-Schwimmbecken genutzt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen.

Very nice, well appointed apartment in modern complex. Some way out of Praia da Luz which makes taxis quite expensive but otherwise would recommend.

A modern, well equipped and comfortable apartment

A modern, spacious apartment in a quiet, well equipped development - the outdoor pool was quiet as was the smaller indoor pool. The gym was well equipped and not busy either. It's a short, pretty walk (15 minutes) along the coast to the nearest resort town of Luz. The subterranean parking was also useful - a car was vital in order to see the sights and get to the many good beaches, supermarkets etc. Recommended!

Great apartment

We stayed in this apartment for a week - and loved it! Great layout of the apartment with a nice balcony overlooking the main pool and out to sea. Being so close to the pool was great and we could sit on the balcony whilst are 10 and 12 year old children swam in the pool. We didn't use the indoor spa facilities as it was far too hot but we are considering a return trip for October half term and I think the indoor pool and jacuzzi would be great to use at this time of year. The apartment has free wifi which pleased our children! The staff at the resort were very helpful and check in was easy. We would recommend a car for this stay. There are lots of wonderful beaches accessible just a short drive away. You can walk to Praia da Luz in around 20 minutes where there is a large beach and a good selection of bars and restaurants. You can also walk to Burgau (or drive in a couple of minutes) where there is another nice but smaller beach and some more restaurants and bars. We also tried the local restaurant on the main road just outside the resort and had a very good meal. We would recommend this apartment and will most certainly be back.
