About the host
Hosted by Charlie @ Nanny End

Nanny End is owned by the parents of Charlie Slater. Charlie and her husband Andrew converted the farm steading that is Beadnell Green in 2008/9 and fell in love with Nanny End and its stunning location. Charlie & Andrew own Alexandra Cottage which is a short walk across the field from Nanny End. The cottages work really well together for family holidays.
Why they chose this property
This cottage is in the perfect location; set in the fields behind the sand dunes, yet just a short stroll across the field or down the lane to either the village of Beadnell and it's choice of unspoilt sandy beaches. The large garden is enclosed and private and a real sun trap - there is nothing better than catching the evening sun with a glass of something cold after a hard day on the beach or visiting one of the many local castles.
Our visitors come back again and again as they say it is a "home from home"
Testimonials include:
"We felt spoilt"
"We'd definitely come here again"
"Everything and more provided - just bring yourselves and your clothes"
"Fantastic. Very COVID safe too"

What makes this property unique
Nanny End is full of character. Originally a farm steading called Beadnell Green, the buildings were converted into three cottages in 2008, ensuring that lots of original features were retained. Guests staying in the master bedroom will be sleeping in the old milking parlour!
Residing at the bottom of a private drive in the open countryside, Beadnell green is the ultimate in seclusion, whilst still being just a short stroll from both the village with its two superb pubs, or the long sandy beaches for which Northumberland is renowned.
