The bed was soft and the shower was hot!!!Miguel was a fabulous host, very friendly and helpful.Trastevere is a great place to stay, we will definitely come back. Gracie mille Miguel e Lucia
We loved our stay. The location was perfect. We could walk to every site. The area has great food and it was surprisingly quiet, even though the neighborhood is very lively in the evening. The room is simple but had everything we needed!
We really enjoyed our stay in Trastevere. The suite was small and cozy and had everything we needed, plus it was an easy walk to all the sights. Lots of restaurants and cafes just footsteps away.
My room was great and everything was as advertised. What I appreciated most, however, was Lucia's willingness to help me track down some lost luggage by making a call on my behalf from her personal phone.
Situated Smack in the Middle of the Heaven that is Trastevere
My dream of finally experiencing Trastevere authentically was realized in my cozy little place, steps away from everything. I was there with Piccolina, my little dog and it was just so much fun. We were cozy and had everything we needed. Whenever I needed something, and contacted Paola, she responded immediately and took care of what we needed. You will never find a better located base to stay in Rome and we walked everywhere, every day. Loved the espresso machine and the fridge stocked with necessities. Apartment was cleaned every single day and I felt very safe and happy. Grazie Paola!
Great location! Great access to walking to all the main tourist spots. Walkway below in morning was clear/quiet, in the evening it became a restaurant . Read some reviews where some did not like this but honestly did not find it an issue. If you are sensitive to noise bring earplugs. Noise stopped by midnight and some nights earlier, but wasn’t much. The apartment was clean but the bathroom had lots of cobwebs above and behind the mirror and could be cleaner around where the mirror sat but the most important cleanliness of the bathroom was perfect. They provided morning packaged baked goods/milk/juice/coffee to make for breakfast. Honesty would totally stay here again.
Stayed for four days in June. The studio had everything we needed. Bed was super comfortable. Fabulous water pressure and lots of hot water. Kitchen is compact, induction cooktop works great, under-counter fridge is the perfect size for two and the Lavazza coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee. We were given a nice selection of breakfast/snack foods - coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, milk, baked goods cheese, meat and butter. There weren’t a lot of dishes but we mostly ate out anyway. Air conditioning was good. Towels and bedding were clean and good quality. Location in Trastevere was lovely. The neighborhood is historic and colourful, with an eclectic vibe. Lots of restaurants and gelato shops down every street. Evenings were lively with music and outdoor dining. The pizzeria two doors down has excellent food but stays open late and is very popular so some noise can be expected. Location is near the river and Ponte Sisto so walking to the Historic Centre is easy. We particularly enjoyed walking on the paths beside the river and found them to be a quieter, convenient and more pleasurable way to get to the Vatican and other historic sites. Buses are close by and often so getting around the City is easy. Host is friendly and communication is good. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Immerse yourself but don’t expect kindness
The room & kitchen was nice for our 1 night stay- clean, stocked and cool. However the check in and out was frustrating. I had previously been in communication with host Lucia in advance, letting her know we wanted access at 2pm and was told to confirm my phone number as detailed instructions would be sent there. We arrived close to 2:30 without receiving the details but luckily a man found us on the front stoop as I began to open the app to inquire. However the man was clearly put off & impatient with us- said he was not expecting us, quickly verified our reservation and ushered us to the room. He was the opposite of understanding that we had arrived by train early that morning, walked the packed Vatican in oppressive heat, walked back to retrieved our luggage from storage and dragged them through the maze of cobblestone streets to arrive hot and exhausted. After cursory transactions for the checking in, he condescendingly informed us that the AC temperatures were in Celsius and check out at 11am. The space provided everything we wanted with exception of a functioning expression maker, & we left early morning for a few hours of exploration, arriving before 11 to retrieve our luggage. Upon entering for our bags, the same man looked at his watch & told us “remember checkout is at 11”. Not “I hope you have enjoyed your stay/ morning walk/ etc. “ Perhaps he was having an off day, Lucia could better communicate, but the charm of the experience was extinguished by the service.
