About this property

This is a beautiful casita overlooking lush jungle, ocean views and amazing sunsets. Your room has private bath, custom wood built-in bed frame, mini-fridge, garden kitchen and an awesome balcony.

The space
Our place is situated up above town so you rarely hear any cars, mostly just nature. There are beautiful views in all directions. Perfect little retreat on the hill. The road is a little rough so take it slow. 4x4 isn't necessary during dry season but clearance is. A small suv or quad is best.

Guest access
You are able to access the gardens, the BBQ sitting area, your own room/balcony and there is wifi throughout (although strongest near the parking area). A table and stools are provided underneath the wireless router, if needed.

Your host

Fun adventurous couple from Lake Tahoe, California with a dream of living a simple life in the tropics on an amazing jungle property and sharing that property with travelers from all over the world. It's incredible how this dream has come into fruition over the past 4 years. We live most of the time in Costa Rica but still return to beautiful Lake Tahoe to visit family and keep our other businesses afloat!

Why they chose this property

We originally had an offer in on a different property but some old property liens kept us from closing the deal. Then we visited what we now call Soul Fire Casitas and we were smitten. The views, the beautiful craftsmanship of the wood cabins, the breeze and then throw in sunrise AND sunset?! SOLD! We closed in April and officially launched our rental rooms in November.

What makes this property unique

You are so close to Montezuma yet so far from the noise, parking issues, traffic jams (yes they happen even in a town with only two intersections) you can lose yourself in the sounds of nature up here. The birds, the monkeys, the butterflies...it's a real life paradise.
