This house is on a quiet street and more spacious than it looks. We were very comfortable here for a week. The local people were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the beach which is spotless, the must-do funicular railway and tea and cake at the tea rooms next to the Italian Gardens. We also took trips to Staithes, Whitby, Runswick Bay and by train to Durham. The weather was mixed but didn't hinder our enjoyment.
Great house in a great location just a sort walk to the shops and beach although it is a steep climb back from the beach. Would recommend Jadoo induan restaurant and Alessi's if you like Italian and the Alexandra Vaults is a pub worth visiting. There is a park and ride if you go to Whitby although we got the bus which took about an hour. House is nice and roomy and is a great terraced house and we never had trouble parking near to the property. Would highly recommend.
We've stayed at this property a few times now, we see it as home from home. Lovely home plenty of room and great location on a quiet road close to everything.
Good location close to all amenities. Well equipped house but it would have been more convenient to have had an upstairs bathroom. Parts of the house require a little TLC but all in all it proved to be an ideal base for our girls weekend.
