About this property
Ancient Villa Art Nouveau original, large park and pool at 3 Km from Lucca Walls
Ancient Art Nouveau Villa faithfully renovated with all comforts, but still preserved with all its original materials, surrounded by greenery, with large park and heated swimming pool, all fenced with internal parking for 6 cars, very suitable for families with children and groups of friends.
Very quite area for walks, bike rides to Lucca Historic center, but also to reach the Lucca Villas built in 1500 by the Nobles of the Republic of Lucca.
Very close to the speedway entrance to Florence.
The park of the Villa is fenced by a wall with access from a pedestrian gate and an automatic driveway gate, with remote control.
At the center of the garden there is the pleasant swimming pool with accompanying deck chairs and the annex where there is the dressing room and the bathroom serving the swimming pool.
Many tall trees are placed in the various corners of the garden, truly enjoyable.
At the ground floor of the Villa there is a large living room with old fireplace, a large dining room and the equipped kitchen.
At the first floor there are three bedrooms with a very large bathroom with shower and bathtub in Art Nouveau style.
At the second floor of the Villa there is a large double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
In the garden, close to the swimming pool, there is the dressing room, its bathroom with shower in the dependance.
Ath the check-in I usually provide informations on itineraries in the area and to visit Lucca and other tuscan cities, as well as particular details on the history of Lucca. This city has remained an independent Republic for about 800 years, despite having a powerful neighbor like the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, to which it will have to submit only in 1847, as established in the Congress of Wien.
The people of Lucca accustostomed to independance suffered greatly from this transition. To compensate them, the florentines gave Lucca the statue of Francesco Burlamacchi (great Governor of Lucca in 1533 who tried to make Tuscany a kind of Switzerland with its cantons) and place it in the main square of Lucca - Piazza San Michele.
