Spend your vacation at Chalet Sole in this superbly furnished first floor ski-in, ski-out apartment within this beautiful, well-appointed chalet in Wengen. It has a beautifully spacious living area, perfect for cosy evenings by the fire or simply open the doors onto the west-facing balcony to relax in the afternoon and evening sunshine.



Two comfortable bedrooms each with King-size double beds (180x200cm) are charmingly decorated and each have their own balconies looking over the village of Wengen. These share a modern bathroom featuring bathtub and walk-in shower.



A private room just across the hallway houses the washing machine and dryer and is set up with racks for ski and boot storage.



Just a 400-meter walk from the village center this Wengen apartment in Chalet Sole has all you need to relax and recharge on your mountain break.

• Complimentary use of the Central Sport ski, board and boot depot. The depot is located adjacent to the Männlichen cable car within the shop and offers places for more than 1,000 skis, boards and boots. The depot is supervised and is open at the same time as the shop.

Every depot space is numbered and a boot drying system is installed.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment was amazing, location to the slopes was perfect, genuine ski in-ski out. Very modern inside with all the amenities you could wish for. The added bonus of having a real fire in the evenings after a hard day skiing was wonderful.

Hébergement idéal à Wengen

Le chalet Sole (ou Soleil) de Wengen, et l’appartement 2 en particulier, a été le camp de base idéal pour nous lors de notre séjour dans la région de Jungfrau. Tout y était impeccable. Le chalet est bien aménagé, propre et très confortable, en plus de disposer d’une salle de lavage avec laveuse et sécheuse... ce qui est très pratique pour des gens comme nous voyageant «léger», et donc avec peu de vêtements de rechange. Pouvoir faire une brassée de lavage est vraiment un plus. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les communications limpides et toutes les infos reçues avant notre séjour, et le guide fourni est inestimable pour aider les voyageurs et leur faciliter l’arrivée et l’installation. La location d’un tel hébergement est l’option idéale pour des vacances de rêve dans cette sublime région. Nous recommandons sans réserve le chalet Sole! Le seul point négatif concerne la gestion des déchets et des produits recyclables. Exiger des visiteurs qu’ils collectent, transportent et déposent à TROIS endroits différents du village (sans voitures) de Wengen leurs déchets et les produits de verre et de plastique recyclable nous semble déraisonnable. Au départ, lorsque vous devez déjà transporter vos bagages et marcher jusqu’à la gare de Wengen, la gestion des déchets, etc., est une charge de trop. Il serait sans doute facile, et beaucoup plus raisonnable, pour l’équipe d’Alpine Holiday Services de prévoir des bacs sur place dans lesquels les visiteurs pourraient simplement déposer leurs déchets et produits recyclables, qui seraient ensuite pris en charge par l’entreprise de location. Nous sommes conscients que la responsabilité des déchets incombe à chacun, mais il faut aussi ici considérer le service à la clientèle. Ce qui s’avère une corvée pour des vacanciers serait une tâche simple et facilement gérable pour l’entreprise.

A perfectly quite and comfortable week Wengen

Very clean and comfortable apartment in a great location right next to the ski hill and a 5-minute walk from the center of town/train station. We (father and 15-year-old son) stayed in early December. In addition to great ski conditions, the real highlight was this spacious and well-equipped apartment. This was more than enough room and the apartment is very well equipped for cooking, TV (including English channels and Netflix), Wifi, and a washer/dryer. Check-in/out was smooth and support via WhatsApp messaging services meant that all questions are answered quickly. Highly recommend this apartment and Wengen. Looking forward to going back soon

One week in paradise

Très bon Emplacement, ski au pied à seulement 10mn du centre ville. Spacieux et bien agencé. 2 grandes chambres, une belle SDB, salon, cuisine. Les plus : La cheminée et la grande buanderie / local à ski. Finition de qualité. 1. Mettre des rideaux complètement opaques ou des volets 2. Réagencer le salon. L’espace n’est pas très bien organisé avec ses deux canapés séparés. C’est dommage car en resserrant cela serait plus cosy surtout avec la cheminée qui est très agréable. 3. Avec le Covid il n’y a pas de Check in. Nous recommandons de lister les défauts pour éviter des litiges + d’avoir un petit manuel d’utilisation des principaux appareils ( ex: nous n’avons pas réussit à nous servir du sèche serviette dans la SDB). Ce sont des points d’amélioration mais dans l’ensemble nous sommes très satisfaits.

A well maintained property by Alpine in Wengen

The two bed room first floor apartment has superb view from balconies. Alpine Holiday Services have really maintained it well. We stayed for two weeks with our daughter and grandson and really enjoyed the experience. This is a child friendly apartment. With one separate room for washing, ironing and keeping hiking gear, makes it more clutter free. It is near to everything ( five minutes walking) be it train station, Cable car, Coop or bakery. Rachel is very helpful and provides all necessary information and assistance. We are already looking forward to next summer in this car free village in Swiss Alps to stay in one of the properties maintained by Alpine
