It easily has enough room for two average-size families with 2000 square feet of living space.

KITCHEN
This kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, blender, both types of coffee makers, etc., along with all the appliances you will need for your vacation, including a 2020 dishwasher.

LAUNDRY
A full-size washer and dryer and laundry soap for your convenience.

FAMILY ROOM
This room is off the kitchen/ dining area. It is large, with plenty of comfortable seating and one queen pull-out couch. The room has a wood-burning fireplace, 43-inch Samsung TV with Sonos speakers. The fireplace is available from November to February.

SUNROOM and SCREENED IN PATIO
Large with fantastic lake views, plenty of comfortable seating, two pub tables w/ chairs and one queen pull couch, and two love seats. The sunroom has a 65-inch Samsung TV with Sonos speakers, and the screened pa tio also has a TV.

BASEMENT
Tall wet bar w/ bar stools, 40 inch TV, DVD player, board games, etc.

DOCK
Short walk to deep-water cove (no wake). Large single-slip covered dock with plenty of room to tie up your boat, use the Jet Ski platform or relax and enjoy the view. Comfortably seats for multiple people with a swing bench and chairs. Dock has a swim platform with a ladder. Dock is around the corner from the widest portion of the lake so you do not have to paddle too far or boat under a bridge for the main attractions.

DECK
New three seasons patio with multiple entertaining areas to enjoy while looking out at the water.

FIRE PIT / LOWER LEVEL PATIO
Teak table is a few steps away from the hammock, fire pit and chairs for late night conversations with s'mores!

PARKING
The front door is just a couple feet away and there is parking area available for five cars! Getting to the house is no problem w/ all paved roads leading to the gravel driveway.

AREA ATTRACTIONS
We are about 20 minutes away from downtown Hartwell with Reed Creek convenience store / gas station is 4 miles away. Downtown Hartwell has a Walmart, Ingles grocery store and many great restaurants. Located minutes from campgrounds, boat launches and Hartwell Marina for refueling. Boat rentals are available at Hartwell Marina, Harbor Light Marina (Lavonia) and via the Get My Boat app

Arctic blast fishing tournament

The weather was absolutely beautiful and absolutely horrible at the same time the cabin offered a very nice place to stay warm while it snowed and to get out of the weather while we weren’t fishing, we didn’t win, but we will be back. The host was very gracious to supply space heaters when one of the units went out But overall we had a great time.

Wonderful Property

We enjoyed being Thanksgiving Runaways for a few nights! This home was very clean, cozy, and was decorated very well. The host was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Quiet location on a dead end street, no traffic, no noise from the neighbors. Our favorite was the large screened porch. Spent a gorgeous fall day on the porch watching college football and enjoying the view of the lake. Second favorite was the swing on the dock - so peaceful!

Quiet

This property is on a small, quiet cove. Clean overall by rental standards. Our sheets were clean but terribly stained - I didn’t notice it until we stripped the bed so that was gross. The listing is advertised as a smart home but we could never get the Alexa to work properly (we also have one at home that controls our lights so we’re very familiar but couldn’t get these to work). The owner must have received a visitor at their house because we got a notification that someone was at the front door but there was no one at the lake property so that was creepy. Netflix worked on one TV, YouTube TV worked on one and Samsung TV in the master so depending on what you wanted to watch determined where to sit. Otherwise, the home is decorated nicely with very nice and abundant towels available. Kitchen was well stocked. Looks just like the photos except the home is much darker in real life. Very nice screened in sunroom and lovely dock.Probably would have enjoyed more in warmer weather but this was a quick getaway so it was adequate.

Perfect Lake Getaway

We stay in a lot of VRBO and photos can be misleading but these photos are spot on! The place is as clean and perfect as in the listing. They had all kinds of lake toys and floats and plenty of space for the whole family. It was very clean and quiet. We definitely would stay again!

What a charming lake house, nestled in a private cove on Lake Hartwell. All the little details and amenities were meticulously thought out. We had a fantastic time and will certainly be back. Thanks again!

Annual Girls Trip

The lake house is very cute and it has the most perfect location on the lake. The dock was ideal for hanging out and the water was nice and clean. We were pretty much the only people around and didn't have to worry about lake traffic. All the rooms have Tvs with internet access and you don't have to login to your personal accounts. The house was well kept and the decor made it feel warm and cozy. We did find it odd that the house has several Alexa devices throughout. Alexa is not something I'm comfortable with in my own home and certainly didn't like the feeling we were being spied on. Overall we had an amazing time and made great memories. We will definitely visit Lake Hartwell again.

Perfect Lake Getaway!

Property was in an ideal location on Lake Hartwell. Short easy walk to the lake. The dock was spacious with a relaxing swing and lots of other seating options available. Access to many lake toys made our stay even more enjoyable. The house was just as beautiful in person as it was in pictures. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Labels on everything throughout the house made locating needed items and switches so convenient. The huge screened in porch with TV and couch was the perfect area to relax. Game room on lower level of the house provided a fun place to hangout and play. Lots of comfortable spaces to sleep and unwind. House was very clean, organized, and attractive. Property management responded quickly and efficiently when needed during our stay. We loved our stay and cannot wait to visit again! :)

Ridiculous Hosts

House is ok- location is about it. Full of roaches, when sent message to host where just told they had sprayed the day we got there. Camera and Alexa spying on you through the house. The most ridiculous is checkout. We left the house as "clean" as we found it yet where charged 100 from our security deposit because we left some lights on and didn't stay to but the first load of towels in the dryer before we left.

Beautifully decorated home! Perfect location. Came for daughter’s grad Clemson! Home was everything we could ask for! Didn’t get to use water toys due to terrible storms :( however we saw lots of wildlife.. loved it! Hope to return!

Peaceful weekend getaway

We had such a peaceful weekend at this beautiful property. It was quiet and immersed in the woods which is just what we were looking for. The house is nicely decorated with updated features like their sound system and lighting system. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The downstairs game room was a fun addition to our planned activities. My favorite space was the well-kept screened in porch which overlooks the lake and you can easily watch the sunrise from the seating area. There was definitely more to do and take advantage of if we had more time. I would definitely recommend staying at this property!

Great Lake House

Great UGA football weekend & guys retreat

Great location and accommodations. Though we were unable to secure paddles for the paddle boards and kayaks, we made the best of the lake life and fun. Accommodations were clean and perfect for relational time and watching UGA football game. Only 9 people maximum at any given time was strictly enforced.

Nice place - but be ready for surveillance (Big Brother is watching)

I booked this property for my son's 16th birthday weekend. The idea was to spend time with both family and have some of his friends over for a sleepover. We had rented a boat for the occasion as well. Everyone loved the house and the property was just as described. When I booked the property months in advance I stated we would have 6 guests (my elderly parents, my sister and brother in law and myself and my son)...which is exactly what we did on the first night. The next morning my elderly parents and my sister and BIL left and my sons friends started to arrive (dropped off by parents in some cases who stayed long enough to chat small talk and then left). One parent asked me if it would be OK to bring the younger sibling so that they could have a date night since we had their other child with us already. I agreed without giving that much thought. Before noon on Day 2 I received a text from the host stating that we had exceeded the number of guests on the property and that people would have to leave within two hours. There were more than 9 people on the property when some were saying goodbye and others were arriving but that was really just a short (30 min) period of time. We ended up one person over the limit (because of the younger sibling)...so I offered that two of our guests would sleep outside. We took very good care of the property but honestly the idea of being watched all weekend ruined the experience for me. Too bad...

Disappointing

While photos of this property depict a beautifully updated lake home, we found this to be an older manufactured home with some cosmetic updates. The downstairs room boasts a sleeper sofa, but can only be accessed through an exterior door. We felt this to be unusable with small children. The cobwebs were easily swept away and the dead hugs were easily washed off the pots and pans in the kitchen, so we decided to make the best of the situation. Hartwell is my hometown, so while lake time was a plus, seeing family was our main intention. We invited 7 family members over for BBQ at 5:30pm the Friday evening of our stay. At 6:30pm I received a hostile text from our host informing us that they had “checked their cameras” and we were infringing upon our VRBO contract. Her complaints were that we were visited by a King Charles Cavalier and that we had 3 too many people visiting the property. I reminded the host that in the paperwork she sent to me there was no mention of a pet policy and that we were within the guest maximum included in that document. She admitted that she had updated the rules since sending me the paperwork and forgot to send the updates to me. Nevertheless, she demanded that I “remove the extra guests and the dog within the hour.” Absolutely mortified, I had to ask my family to leave. This is a decent property for those who don’t mind being watched, but if you are looking for a quiet property to rest and relax with your family this isn’t the property for you.

Quick getaway before college classes start

I always take the kids for a short retreat before they head back to school. All 4 loved the house and lake. Screened in porch with big TV was a hit for movie nights
