Home remodeled in 2013/2017 including all new bathrooms (stone), replacement of all appliances (Viking and LG), installation of central air. Water/Dryer and Dishwasher. Master bedroom has vaulted ceiling and bathroom. Very cozy cabin close to town yet it feels like your far away. 1.7 acres of stunning property.

The second structure to the right of the main house described above is a guest house that is not for rent.

Temporary home in the mountains

Excellent property and host located just up the road from downtown Highlands. Cozy cabin, quiet location but still so close to civilization. Loved the woods, local wildlife, chefs stove in the kitchen and grills outback. Comfy couches too! Would bring my family to stay here again!

Great cabin close to Main Street

House was clean and fully stocked with everything we could ever need. A gift bottle of wine was an unexpected surprise, especially after the 6-hour drive to get there. The location was perfect for all of our wedding events, the daytime hikes to waterfalls, and trips into town. I highly recommend staying in this cozy cabin!

Loved the location. The upstairs bed wasn’t super comfortable and the house had a bit of a smell to it. Other than those two things it was great!

I absolutely love this area for its natural beauty and weather. Beautiful 1.7 acres that is secluded and yet close to main street. 1.7 miles from Old Edwards Inn!

What makes this property unique

The raised front porch has a view of the forest (very lush). The doors, paneling and exposed rafters were built from wood on the property. Open kitchen and living room with loft above. Very cozy and unique cabin. Viking Range/Microwave, LG Stacked Washer and Dryer, Bosch Dishwasher and Green Egg. All Clad pots and pans.
