This gulf-front property is ideal for beach-goers, offering a private stretch of white sand, free seasonal beach service, and such wonderful resort amenities as hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, a movie theater, an arcade, and an expansive beachfront fitness center.

Pier Park - an outdoor complex that's home to 124 stores, a Grand IMAX movie theater, an assortment of eateries, and the Panama City Beach Skywheel - is three-quarters of a mile east, as is the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater (the site of the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Unwined, and a summer concert series). Take in a wildlife encounter at Gulf World (one mile east), or head into downtown Panama City Beach to explore Ripley's Believe It or Not!, WonderWorks, and ZooWorld (six miles east).

Overall good

This unit was exactly as pictured! Everything was clean when we arrived. Plenty of towels and utensils. Location was good. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of all of the construction that’s going on at the parking garage. It makes it very hard entering and exiting. I know this isn’t Vacasa’s fault, however it should be mentioned. Other than that, I would book again.

Some complaints but overall good experience

I didn't feel like it was cleaned very well. The tub was dirty. Also, we found a tablet left from another family (that we turned in to the vacasa desk) also a piece of paper with check in info with another family's name from the week before. Another thing, the ice machine on the fridge didn't work. The coffee table was broke. The bed in the bedroom was hard as a rock. The elevators were a nightmare when we first arrived. Only one was working on our side. The rest of the time it wasn't horrible. I guess they got them fixed, thank goodness. But overall it wasn't a bad experience. We would stay again. I just hope it's cleaned a little better next time. And maybe put a mattress topper on the bedroom mattress.

Older unit needs TLC

If you’re looking for a small decently priced place to lay on the beach and tan then look no further. This unit is small, but works for a quick get away. The unit is older and needs TLC and a deep spring cleaning. However, the housekeeping staff gets it clean enough for a quick stay. The beds are hard and pillows firm. If you like a soft bed come prepared with a mattress topper. The couch is very worn. It’s a bit uncomfortable to sit on because it is very well broken in. The Tidewater is an older condo that needs some elevator work. The elevators travel slow. So it takes a while to get from floor to floor. During peak times you will wait 15mins to 1 Hr for an elevator. Many times my husband and I just walked the 16 flights of stairs. The condo also puts out a TON of chairs for rent and owners. So that beach service is nice. Unless you like to play on the beach. There’s no room. If you lay out and tan it works great. The staff was very helpful to us. Especially since the room was not cleaned when we got there and our check in was delayed because of the room not being cleaned. The night security staff was amazing in getting us help.
