Small rustic cottage with garden

Charming wooden cottage built in 1914. One of the first houses built on the hill above the town of Stinson Beach. There are two rooms: one bedroom with a queen size bed and an open plan kitchen, dining and living room area. Cozy and lovely with comfortable furniture. Single wall construction (meaning, not insulated ) with good forced air heating and a free standing fireplace in the bedroom.

Near the Bolinas Lagoon, a bird watching paradise and site of nesting herons, egrets, and harbor seal pupping site. The area is known for its natuaral beauty. The town of Stinson is very small with a grocery store, a book shop, a surf shop that rents surf boards and wetsuits, a kayak rental business, a few boutiques, a gallery, three resturaunts and a library. Please be aware there are no gas stations for ten miles, so be sure to fill up before coming over the hill.

Spacious cabin with lovely feline visitors

Has a great time in the cabin and the Stinson Beach and Bolinas area. Wonderful hot tub and wood stove for chilly evenings, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen.

Sweet artistic cottage in Stinson beach

This was our second stay at the cottage and we enjoyed it again. It is very comfortable and well appointed with an artist’s decor. The walk to Stinson is easy (though a hill) and we took many walks. It is a very peaceful place to stay and unwind. We loved it.

Cozy and Welcoming

The ambiance of the cabin was wonderful, and felt very natural and welcoming. The garden is well-kept and beautiful. The location is convenient for hiking, walks, or just relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a weekend getaway.

Cute- Welcoming beach cabin. Had a lovely time in this OH so Cute diggs, decorated tastefully, comfy bed, great small kitchen and lovely garden and Hot Tub. Stayed 6 days 5 nights, had many beach walks and enjoyed doing BBQ on grill and relaxing.

Wonderful artists bungalow

Nice place with a few not-so-great parts

Pros: It was nice, cute and beachy. Definitely rustic. Lots of interesting art and sculptures as decor. Easy walk to a one of the best hiking trails I’ve been on, very short drive to the beach. The hot tub was very hot. The owner was next door and she brought us a baking sheet when we couldn’t find one in the cottage.Cons: the comforter was stained. The oven was a little scary, and we were uncertain if it would actually go off, but it eventually did. The owner. In bringing us the baking sheet, she came over, and used the opportunity to ask if we could leave early the next day. Fortunately for her, we’re early risers and ended up leaving early anyway, but being pressured to like that face-to-face was awkward, and kinda rude. She came inside, uninvited, and tried to show us the light switches, completely unnecessarily, and seemed to want to chat a lot. We don’t. Her visit was easily the worst part of the trip.

Cute cottage which was very comfortable. Disappointed that flower boxes had dying plants. Hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. Feel janitors could have made sure there was body wash and garbage bags! Noises at night which could have been wild life.

An exceptional vacation rental on the hill over Stinson Beach. A charming, well-appointed, easy to use, comfortable cottage that was perfect for our vacation: beach visits morning and afternoon, relaxing, or hiking on Mt. Tam. We hope to return one day, just a great home to enjoy while on holiday.

Amazing little cottage walking distance to the beach. We loved the art, the garden, the hot tub and also, being so close to the Stinson beach market came in clutch when I needed some essentials that I forgot to pack. Though it is walking distance, I must mention that it can be a challenging walk uphill to the house if carrying things or have elderly or children walking.

Utterly magical in every way

I am so in love with this house! Everything about it is picture perfect, styled with a very gifted artist’s eye, full of charm, character and soul. There is so much heart in this home, both inside and out, and it was a gift just to be able to spend a few days there. Hot tub was magical and so, so hot, and the walk to town gave me a view of a part of Stinson I’d never explored. I can’t wait to come back again someday!

Great Weekend Getaway

My girlfriend and I loved staying here. Location is perfect and just close enough to the downtown strip but far enough away to be secluded… and connects right into the trails around the area. Tess was an incredible host and made checking in and out a breeze. Would definitely recommend this spot to a small group looking for a small town coastal getaway,
