About this property

House in the trees, 5 miles from Interstate 40, wild life, amazing views

This house in the trees sleeps up to 5 people and is perfect for your business travel, weekly commute, weekend getaway, holiday travels or family vacation. This newer property in majestic Pinion Pines has been newly furnished for your comfortable enjoyment. A short drive from Interstate 40, Hualapai Mountain Park/Cabins/Lodge, Historic downtown Kingman, Grand Canyon, Route 66, Colorado River and Las Vegas. This is a high desert location at it's finest. This climate has beautiful days throughout the year. We get an occasional snow but it usually melts by the next day. 2 routes into the neighborhood offer convenience and a short 12-15 minute drive to town. Located just up DW Ranch Road off Interstate 40 makes getting back on the road a snap. Watch for cows!

This modern house will make you want to extend your stay. Clean accessible appliances make living easy with a soothing view almost any direction. This is the stay you're looking for in that clean feel of a high end resort. Take your meals and drinks to the large, well lit patio and set the dimmer switch for your comfort! Enjoy high quality beds and fresh linens. Central air and a wall mount digital fireplace making getting comfortable easy. Whether you want to be outside enjoying nature or hunker down with the blinds closed, privacy is yours in this peaceful home.

You are bound to see some wildlife if you spend time outside. We regularly see deer, javalina, elk, lots of birds and other animals at this 5000 ft. location. Be on the lookout for snakes in the warm months. While there are mountain lions in these mountains, I've never seen one in 30 years of living here and exploring the Hualapais. If you have questions about outdoor activities and public land use, owner has more information.

Additional amenities: Ironing board/iron, crock pot, coffee and filters, soap/shampoo and various bathroom products, extra blankets, games, toys, books, movies, first aid kit, area heater, yoga mat. Additional items available upon request.

Please no open fires of any kind. No smoking on property. 1 covered parking space. Lots of outdoor parking if needed. No garage included with rental. Dogs considered with reservation and fee. Dog amenities available on-site. Dogs must be on leash outside of home. Owner requires standard vacation rental lease to be reviewed and electronically signed via email prior to check in date. Please ask owner to view prior to booking if you have any questions.

Much better than a hotel!
Throughly enjoyed our stay. We had to adjust to the lower water prressure (city boy), but knew this in advance. Owners supplied Everthing you could possibly use or need. Without a doubt, I would be a repeat customer.

Wonderful time in Pinion Pines
Beautiful area in the mountains but less than 15 minutes from Kingman. The property was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and made our check-in process a breeze. If you like nature and tranquility, this is the place (we woke up one morning and saw a family of deers in the yard!). Beautiful sunsets and bright stars at night. We will definitely stay here again!

Winter stay.
We were here for 70 days and the accommodations were perfect. The rural setting is great. The building is in excellent condition. Very friendly neighbors. Wildlife is abundant and fun to watch. Hope to return next year. The owners are awesome. Everything is provided for our long stay. Truly a great experience!

Beautiful and Relaxing
A friend and I spent the weekend for a quiet getaway in nature. We had the lovely surprise of a big family of mule deer joining us every day. Watching the mountain and valley views at sunrise and sunset was a wonderful way to spend the early morning and late evening hours.
