About this property

Farm Adventure: 100 acres! Fishing, hiking, animals, horses

The Cowboy Hideout is a large one room unit all decorated in the Cowboy Theme! You will find pictures of horses/cowboys, old saddle, chaps, boots hanging and even the bed is made out of Horseshoes that we saved from our horses. The knotted pine paneling was all logged off the property giving you a real western feel.
While here you can ride ( bring your own horse)/hike our many trails that we spent 10 winters hand digging ( some leaving right from your room), fishing/swimming in the spring fed pond, walk the mini horses, gather farm fresh eggs, have cookout/campfires, enjoy the outdoor chapel with view , hands on time every morning and evening with horses and petting animals and of course just getting back to what is REAL. nature, animals and each other. When you leave you will feel revived and recharged!

The Cowboy Hideout has a good size kitchen which is fully equipped, queen bed, futon, private bathroom with tub jacuzzi, air/heat and smart tv , vcr with movies.

The Cowboy Hideout is perfect for couples or small families! Parents like staying here because you don't have to all get in the car to "do" something...........just step out the door and hike or play with kittys or feed the goats!

No smoking , No pets. Bring own sheets ( queen size and full size for futon) and Bath towels and Food. meals are not included.

We also offer specialized Horsemanship clinics with RANCH Horses, learning the basics of safety around horses, handling of horses, Haltering/ Leading /Grooming/Saddling and Riding instruction. 125.00 per person plus taxes.

Sign up for our MINI HORSE Orientation Class. After class, you will be qualifies to halter, lead, groom the mini horses at any time. Children must have parent present.
You would even be able to take the mini horses on the hiking trails! 75.00 for group up to 4 people

We have paddocks with shelters for those who are traveling with their own private horses. Trails to ride on ranch and in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Ask for rates and info and stabling reservations.
Meet other like minded folks who may be staying at our Bed and Breakfast/Private units or camping shelters ,which are spread out throughout our 100+ acres.

AMAZING
The most amazing Thanksgiving vacation was this week thanks to Twin Valley Horse Ranch, Ms. Janice, Jadyn, and all of the amazing horses and animals. We are staying in the Cowboy Hideout which is beautiful and made of gorgeous wood from the property. It is perfect for our family of two girls and a baby. It truly feels like home with a full Kitchen, rockers on the porch, cozy blankets, and tons of homey touches. We have spent a lot of time at the ranch, but had no issues going into town for Dollywood, Dollys Stampede, and snow tubing in Pigeon Forge due to the drive being incredibly beautiful. We are a neurodiverse family and Ms. Janice was incredibly understanding and patient with our daughters challenges. This is a rare gift and I know that we were meant to be here. My girls have loved learning about both mini horses and full size horses, not only how to ride but also how to connect with the horses and safety . The toddler has enjoyed playing with all of the chickens, bunnies, kitties, and dogs that happily call Twin Valley home. We are already planning our next trip here and are sad to say goodbye!

Great Get-a-way - Cowboy hideout
Having the animals right next door was fun. My daughter overslept and we missed the horse ride, but it was still a good atmosphere.

Amazing Experience!
Our family spent 4 nights/5 days at Twin Valley and we had a wonderful experience. Janice is caring, fun and very knowledgeable. The farm is beautiful, so much to do that we were outside all the time. We cannot wait to come back!

Hello, my name is Janice and I love realizing the dream my late husband and I have created. Being able to meet amazing folks from all over the world and sharing my ranch, horses/critters, mountain riding tips and the joys of mountain living is very rewarding to me. It is so wonderful to be able to say that people come as guests and literally leave as friends! They give as much joy to me as what I try to create for them. When we bought the ranch in 1983, no one had lived here or worked the land for over 40 yrs. Just overgrown land is what we started with. Slowly but surely we cleared, logged, dug trails, built paddocks, barns, cabin and enjoyed the joys of mountains riding! And now myself and the Twin Valley Family wish to show you all the BEST time possible. I have worked several ranches in Co and also have a AAS in Horse Husbandry so I enjoy teaching and sharing my love of horses and the mountains to all.
