Stunning, traditional Uzés townhouse in perfect location

This is a truly beautiful home, stylishly appointed and clearly well used and loved. It is centrally located in the town, with the Place Aux Herbes within a ten minute walk. Parking is limited to nearby streets, but we didn’t have a problem and only needed to use the car sporadically anyway. Ceiling fans in some bedrooms were very welcome as it was so hot and humid during our stay. The mosquitoes are challenging! Come prepared. The garden is verdant and shady and the pool is small but offered welcome relief from the heat and was just big enough for three children to play about in quite happily! The municipal pool is also nearby and was quiet with two fantastic pools. Also recommended is the nearby Boucaresse water park for a day out with children. We are regular visitors to lovely Uzés and it was a privilege to stay in this family home in the heart of the town.

Bijou inmitten von Uzés

Zentral gelegene wunderschöne Wohnung, die mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Für den Aufenthalt ist alles vorhanden: Grill, Waschmaschine, komplett ausgestattete Küche, Fernseher, Spiele und jede Menge Bücher zum lesen. Der Aussenbereich gepflegt und der Pool für die Mieter ganz alleine! Alles tadellos sauber und gepflegt. Unkomplizierte Kontaktaufnahme mit der sehr freundlichen Verwalterin, Gaetane! Zu Fuss sind Bäckerei, Metzgerei und Käseladen in 4 Min.erreichbar. Auch der Place de l`herb ist in 6 Min.zu Fuss erreichbar. Was sicher in der Anzeige zu erwähnen währe ist, dass Katzen zwischendurch zum fressen vorbei kommen. Sicher für Allergiker noch wichtig! Und zu empfehlen ist ein Dauerticket bei Q-Parking, welches in der Nähe ist, online im Voraus zu buchen, da nicht tirekt bei der Wohnung parkiert werden kann.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour! la maison est juste magnifique Pleine de charme une décoration vintage comme je les aime ❤️ Tout y était je n’ai jamais vu un logement aussi bien fourni en accessoires de toutes sortes Je suis tombée amoureuse de plusieurs de vos tableaux Le seul hic c’est que nous avons quand même fortement souffert de la chaleur étant donné qu’il n’y a pas la clim mais nous a expliqué qu’apparemment vous ne pouviez pas l’installer pour des raisons de Maison classée etc…. À part ça tout était parfait Merci

Beautiful property right in the heart of Uzes. The pool was a godsend given the heat in Aug/Sep and the house is full of character. The children loved it as the pool is deep enough to swim around whilst still allowing our youngest to bounce of the bottom to the side of the pool. The Mosquitoes are ruthless and ensure you have lots of spray. Overall a relaxing, magical and beautiful place.

uzes is a magical town and this house is located in easy walking distance, which is so nice. the house makes you feel as if you have a summer family home in france. it is very eclectic inside and filled with art. fabienne was charming, and quick to reply and give suggestions on the area. i would say that the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom can be difficult for older folks with knee/leg issues, but there was a bed in the downstairs studio and a shower in the extremely cozy pool house (the pool house is meant to be the 3rd bedroom. we have wonderful memories of eating outside near the pool, at looking out at the sunset from one upstairs bedroom, and the “castle” from the other. we have stayed in many rentals in france, and this was one of our favorites houses and towns.

A beautiful and peaceful house.

Just a lovely house to spend time in. A calm, quiet house with several places to relax and eat. Fans in the bedrooms make for comfortable evenings and the pool is superb. A 5 min stroll to the heart of Uzes, the house is wonderful.

Havre de paix et de verdure. Toutes les promesses sont tenues.

Fabienne et Eva nous se sont montrées d’excellentes hôtesses, nous n’avons que des compliments à faire. Maison plus qu’agréable avec ses commerces de choix à deux pas. On a mal à partir. Les chats apportent une dose supplémentaire de quiétude.

Beautiful house

We absolute loved Fabienne’s place. It’s on a quiet street 7 minutes walk to the centre of the stunning market town of Uzes. The house is exquisitely decorated, with numerous paintings adorning the walls. It’s surprisingly spacious inside and kept cool even though the weather outside was very hot. The back garden has a lovely outdoor dining table/terrace and the pool is perfect for the kids to play in, but also long enough for swimming lengths. We can’t recommend Fabienne’s house enough and are keen to come back again.

Maison avec un supplément d’âme

Idéalement située a 5mn a pieds de la Place aux Herbes, vous pouvez oublier votre voiture. Pour notre part, nous avons choisi de la laisser au parking Gide, souterrain, donc a l’abri du soleil. La maison est en tout point conforme aux descriptions, le jardin et la piscine permettent de se rafraîchir a tout moment de la journée. Cette maison est clairement chargée de l’histoire de la famille, les tableaux, les livres, et l’ameublement nous ont fait sentir dans un lieu de vie plus que de villégiature. Merci encore a Mme Blevis pour la qualité de son accueil.
